Baldyman
This really is a must win for the witches now if we are to qualify, as I don't see us winning at Somerset
Super Blue
It seemed to me that the Witches were totally unprepared and unfocused in their abysmal efforts against Peterborough so will seriously need to buck up their ideas and quickly if they are to gain anything out of this ! Â Prior to ( not so ) Good Friday I would have been full if optimism at getting a decent result but now half expecting another battering . Â looking at the team I expect a decent return from Richie W , Gino should find Dry House more to his liking , Morten is what he is , hopefully Cam can kick on after winning his first race of the season , Rohan should do ok here , Adam was sorely missed and Ritchie H ought to be good for a few pts . Â Would probably have gone to this but wifey has had other plans on this day for months . Â Will be keeping a a hopeful but non expectant eye on the scores from afar if the weather holds out . 2ndbendbeerhut
Witches losing at home will have lost both Rye House and Peterborough promotions money.....
bigcatdiary
Must be honest and say I thought Peterborough's attendance would be hit in the evening after we won at Foxhall but their were loads of Witches fans at the Showground and that was easily our best crowd of the season. 2ndbendbeerhut
Witches have always had good away support. It's just they need a team that has a chance to get a result. Rising fuel costs are now a big consideration along with entry costs. Reduced admission costs for away fans would certainly help wouldn't it? Baldyman
Well 4 of us car shared last night, but tomorrow I shall be on my own.
Baldyman
Yeah the racing is normally very poor, but so is Ipswich this season so far, but I just have to watch my team wherever and whenever I can.
LagutaRacingFan
A must win for Ipswich, Pete Simmons will have the lads fired up no doubt. Â A win would sensationally take them back to the top of Group C ahead of the much superior Peterborough Panthers so that would be an extra bonus for the Witches fans. Baldyman
Why would Pete Simmons have them fired up?
LagutaRacingFan
Why would Pete Simmons have them fired up? Â Because Pete is and always will be the team manager. Â It's a bit like Alex Ferguson and United, The legacy Pete has built will remain for decades.
Cliffeboy
Yeah the racing is normally very poor, but so is Ipswich this season so far, but I just have to watch my team wherever and whenever I can. Normally I would agree, but when I was there the other week with the Rebels I was taken to task by Startline Sid who pointed out that the track has been changed a bit which has improved the passing.........not just gate and go. I have to say he was right and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the racing, none more so than heat 15 when Kennett gated and Nick Morris chased him down passed him got repassed and then passed him again to receive generous applause from us and also a large contingent of the Rye faithful. CardinalSin
You really are a very odd person.I really wouldn't bother Dave. The best way to deal with idiots like this and the Alljacks of this world is to ignore them and not take the bait.

Falcon Hammer
Met Office website shows light rain, but should be clear for start time. Â RYE House can confirm this afternoon's League Cup clash with Ipswich (2pm) is set to go ahead as planned. http://www.ryehouserockets.co/news.php?extend.785 Â Let's hope the forecast is correct
Shadders
Just around the corner from the track it's dull and we've had a few spots of rain, but it's bright enough to be hopeful of seeing some action
Rteyp
2 miles from the track and we have had a shower or two, but dried out already. Getting darker again but looks like it could go either way.... I reckon it will be on but will be touch n go. Unfortunately I will miss this one.
