British Semi-finals

That's surprising from Robson he normally has perfect machinery. Shame for him then.

When Robbo fell in heat 10 his engine seemed to 'blow' (went with a real bang) and his second bike let him down in heat 13. If Robbo's engine hadn't have gone Kennett wouldn't have scored in that heat so wouldn't have finished 8th - Ashley Morris would have. Kennett was poor all night apart from one heat, doesn't deserve a 'wild card' and shouldn't be given another chance.

If I remember rightly he also cost Tai the British Championship in 2012 when he couldn't stay on his bike in the final!

That's a bit harsh Steve, he was well on the pace in a cracking race, Tai lost the re run hardly Kennets fault, it happens all the time.

If you mean the final when he came off, ok he was on the pace, which was obviously too fast for him which is why he fell!

Like I said last Thursday he was poor and for me shouldn't get a 'wildcard'. Stuart Robson had bad luck with his engines/ other mechanical issues and to my mind he deserves another chance due to those circumstances.

With the finances Kennett has behind him if he was anything like a decent rider he would've been in the Grand Prix series years ago.

Bit harsh on Kennett I think. He finished the semi-final in 8th place and barring injury for a leading light in the other semi, should get a place in the final in my view as that is the fairest thing to do. Mechanical failure is part of the sport - some riders have more than others which suggests it's not simply down to bad luck. Kennett also finished higher in the GP qualifying last season than any other British rider.

Also, if you know how much money he has compared to other riders then you must be very close to him or has he stated this somewhere?

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message including your mobile number.

Thanks

Lets be honest....

If he couldn't get a 15 point max against that field, there really is something wrong.

Well done Lewis, fab job, and at a track that you've said isn't your most favorite, wont disgrace himself in the Final either.
