CardinalSin
Enough is enough with Heeps he's way off the pace. I've packs between heats? This wrist HAS to be sorted he's clearly struggling badly with it.
NeilWatson
Complete farce... Rene riding for both teams ffs Rene would be a busy man riding for both teams.... Taking two guest bookings for different teams (albeit on the same day and in return fixtures) isn't unique.....

Only speedway could do it, and then wonder why the sport is a laughing stock.

If the two legs didn't happen to be on the same day this wouldn't be raising any comment at all. BluPanther
Very solid Panthers performance, i cant see the Witches having any joy at the Showground.

maneacat
Well I for one am looking forward to Rene's return to the Showground tonight - just pleased he is on Panthers team and not riding for the opposition.

CardinalSin
Well done panthers great result for them. What an awful meeting was there a single pass?
tone deaf
Terrible meeting, Witches were awful & racing was rubbish. Shame such a good crowd & nothing to entice them back on a Thursday night. Congratulations to Peterborough who fully deserved all the points.
Racin Jason 72
Congrats to the panthers. I was going to go to the return fixture but changed my mind after heat 9 ! Cam is a real worry at the moment. How much time can we give him. No sign of improvement in his form. Morten was poor today yet Leigh lanham was man of the match last night at Sheffield. Nuff said
Bagpuss
Panthers really seem to be getting into their stride now. Witches obviously missed their EL men but that engine room pairing must be a concern.
2ndbendbeerhut
Morten was poor today yet Leigh lanham was man of the match last night at Sheffield. Nuff said Thing is Lanham would be scoring 6,7,8's every meeting, which is what is needed, not 12 one week and 3 the next. Risager was never at the races, and needs to look at Ostergaard and especially Dryml. The Czech was pants early on but obviously did the necessary to make two sharp starts and won two heats. Very impressed by Greenwood on his first visit, and finished with an on the line pass of Mills, which typified the determination and commitment of the visitors. Risager rode the same line the whole meeting, so least he's consistant! Greenwood showed more effort in that heat than the Witches all match (the 5 of them)
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Panthers were right on it and fully deserved their win. The score didnt flatter them either. Just knew it was gonna be one of those days when Ritchie went down when set for a 5-1.Once we went behind it was all over. Pride is all there is to hope for in the return. Bezza
Terrible meeting, Witches were awful & racing was rubbish. Shame such a good crowd & nothing to entice them back on a Thursday night. Congratulations to Peterborough who fully deserved all the points. I absolutely agree! Afternoon meetings at Ipswich usually get a great crowd and yet for whatever reason the standard of racing is generally poor - not a great recipe for future custom!.............and that has to go down as one of the worst performances in recent years. I suggest we either swap times with the opposition next year or perhaps start the meeting late morning when there's perhaps a bit of overnight moisture. Better still get the riders using the wider spaces of foxhall as opposed to following the same line used by the rider in front - us supporters are tired of seeing it week in week out! We must give credit to Peterborough though who trapped all afternoon with their experienced riders dominating the young witches in the first bend. Any thoughts I had of going to Peterborough soon vanished once we were 10 behind! EDIT: I have just seen a friends message on fb, it reads My 1st Speedway meeting of the year - wont be going again. Utter Cr@p!!! Edited April 18, 2014 by Bezza
Baldyman
Well done to the panthers, far better than us. Track was already done and dusted after heat 2. Can we still make excuse for Cameron wrist injury? He himself has said it's healed and pain free. Last year his gating scored him good points along with some determined racing, this year he can't gate at all and then looks really slow. As for morten, he should race for Plymouth, he always scores their. On route to the showground now for what I can only imagine will be another loss, but by how big?
