Falcon Hammer
Ouch - fair play to the Lions, but we were definitely robbed of a point there. Ht9 Ben excluded because Adam locked-up?!? Adam not allowed in the re-run as withdrawn by paramedics: went to the start line, but not allowed to race. Ht12 Perry overtook Ben L1T4 around the outside. I'm not bitter... stevebrum
Leicester seem to proving there doubters wrong..... at home anyway at the moment. Another poor night for heat leaders, Watt and PK had poor nights.
LagutaRacingFan
A shambles for Lakeside, They basically had a Number 1 rider on a 5 point average but they have messed up the rest of the side so badly that It looks like they are going to blow another season and fail to break their EL duck. Karlsson and Watt are garbage in my opinion, the flatter to decieve when under pressure and both of them would prefer to be at Wolves and Poole but are only at Lakeside for a job, It sickens me to see a true Hammer like AJ left out for Watt and PK. Don't get me started on Bridger who if he was half as good as he says he is, he would be rivaling Emil Sayfutdinov and Darcy Ward for the world title. weatherwatcher
I did say earlier that BP would catch the best of riders out. Well done to the Lions. More of this to come I hope.

speedwaysliders
so how did Bridger get his heat 15 ride?
HenryW
In my opinion I feel that PK and Watt both struggle away from home. I feel that Lewis Bridger is just as poor as Eddie Kennett. Therefore I would expect the Hammers to be solid at home but poor away from home.I mocked Eddie last night, but I feel that you have slighted him more there...He is a far better rider than Lewis Bridger. Prehaps this is the one season too many for PK can't believe that he is not trying a100% whether riding for Wolves or not but may be those injuries of last season have just been too much to get over .I hope not as he is amazing for his age and I had hoped he had a couple of seasonsleft in him but he is human and clock is ticking just hope this is a glitch and nothing more. justathought
Lakeside won't do anything this year, they are just making up the numbers. A bit like Leicester in many ways, will win most at home and struggle away.
Haza
Having seen Lakeside at Kings Lynn last Wednesday and Leicester last night the Hammers need some new faces PK and Watt need replacing both great riders in there day but there day has passed also why they stick with Bridger I really don't know he had one good race at Leicester last night , on the plus side Bech is very impressive this is the future for the Hammers . Nellie
Having seen Lakeside at Kings Lynn last Wednesday and Leicester last night the Hammers need some new faces PK and Watt need replacing both great riders in there day but there day has passed Watt's averaging 8.67 without and 9.33 with bonus points this year. Granted some of the opposition hasn't been great, but I'm sure that's a pretty decent increase in average in a tougher format. It appears Lakeside will make an official complaint about Adam Ellis being withdrawn from the meeting. It left Lakeside without a rider in heat nine, effectively causing them to lose a league point. http://www.lakesidehammers.co/content/?p=7252 Edited April 13, 2014 by Nellie
E I Addio
Adam Ellis on twitter : "How can a paramedic who admitted he didn't know anything about speedway decide if your race fit even when you prove him wrong?"

If the paramedics are over ruled there would be anarchy. Unsafe riders all over the place. A rider running on adrenaline is not best placed to decide whether they are fit to ride or not. If Ellis had a shouldet problem he may not have been able to hold the bike in the turns and caused more crashes. 1 thing that appears to me is that Morley and Ellis are on competition with each other which is no good for team ethos. Vatcher has no belief in his riders. I've heard him interviewed twice now and that is the very piblic indication he gave in both. How can yiu motivate your riders when you publically state you don't believe in them all the time.

Regarding vatcher he has done nothing but praise the riders when spoken to at lakeside as has everybody else.

We should have had the meeting points bagged much earliet on in the meeting. We just aren t good enough' Sound familiar? Because he's paid by the home team ? Ye that will be it. liam
He was right the riders weren't sharp enough and we have been giving away points at end of meetings everyone can see that including cook who said the same. What happened the following week? We hit 69 points. Edited April 13, 2014 by liam
lionking
To hear that Lakeside are to make an official complaint about the referee & the paramedics at Leicester is unreal. If the paramedic says that a rider is unfit to continue the meeting then who is Neil Vatcher or anyone else to argue that. Fact is that I'm told Adam Ellis popped his shoulder out it's socket & was in a lot of pain. If Lakeside win or even take a point from the meeting there would not even be a mention of a complaint. Lakeside are looking for a scapegoat for losing to a tiny club that everyone feels will prop the league up.
