Poole V Coventry 14/4/14 Ela Sky Meeting.

inflict another Bees defeat proving the win at Blunsdon was a flash in the pan!

In reality, all it will prove is that that Bees will have lost to two teams in the past 4 days that are absolute certainties to be in the Playoff final come October. It won't provide any indication as to whether we'll be able to make a push for one of the two losing semi finalist spots in the Playoffs.

Hope the track isn't as bad as was reported last Wednesday, otherwise our latest 'dud' number one will struggle even more.

Surely this has to be a comfortable home win?

Unless the Bees really can rise to the hype that seemed to be surrounding them pre season.

I guess a lot will depend on the fitness of Hans and Garrity.

You seem to be obssesed with the fact that the Bees were overhyped pre season. Who overhyped them?

A blind man can see that Poole and King's Lynn will be in the Playoff final.

The highest compliment paid to the Bees was that we looked better than last year, which I don't think anyone can deny. Nobody sane has claimed that the team is likely to achieve anything.

I`m certainly not obsessed just pointing what plenty said.

Kings Lynn look the only team likely of a PO place as sides stand right now.

Injuries to any of the Stars top 3 could blow that apart however.

Likewise the Pirates look more than capable of a top 4 spot but not that much stronger than the rest (excluding Leicester and Birmingham).

So you would rather a rider ride who can hardly walk and is making his knee worse each time.

Personally feel if a rider is riding injured then it also puts other riders at risk

There is more to speedway than just points, riders are people and fans have to show concern for their safety

Completely agree.

Would Poole fans rather Darcy was riding with his injury, bound to not score and be out longer in the long run OR have Holder guest for him while he gets himself fit

Its the same with Hans

Of course I'd rather he be fit but he clearly feels he's capable of riding. He's a strong guy. Nobody wants him to make it worse. You need to drop the negativity though. We're not in 2013 anymore.

Very positive about our team, one of the best team spirits in the league.

However when your number 1 struggles to score 4 on Fri and scores 0 at weekend you have to be realistic (not negative)

Totally agree , wouldn't be a huge surprise to see young Howarth top score for you .. Pirates by at least a dozen .

I think our reserves will outscore Pooles but we will need Howarth and Fisher to have good nights which I think they can. Bomber usually goes well around Poole so im hoping he can get 7+ and I just Hope Hans is fit enough to gate and get some points. Away from home we shouldnt expect to much from Hansen, anything more than 4 will be job done. Do I think we will get a losing point? No, but I think we will can be competitive!

LOL you think Poole are not as strong as Kings Lynn? Seriously?

As for tonight, meats back on the menu, boys!

Good for you..

Yes I must admit it does make me feel good as an old lady to be able to grasp things a lot quicker than some younger members on here. Mind you some of them make it easy to do as they continually get the wrong end of the stick and show themselves up. :D

Ain't that the truth?!...just how sad is it that most people must surely be confident that those two teams will be in the Play off finals in 6 months time, whilst we're still in April?!!....Unless either of them have horrendous seasons with injuries, then this year is going to be the most predictable one probably ever!

The speedway bosses need a major rethink over the course of the season as they can't afford to go into 2015 with again only 2 teams capable of winning the league as SKY surely, will lose patience with the sport before too much longer (its a shock that they haven't already done so after the rubbish that was served up last season in the televised EL matches 95% of the time).

All we can hope for is some decent racing from the the other 8 "also ran" teams in the EL but as far as ultimate winners go, there are only 2 names in the hat, virtually before the season has even started.

Quite agree, the Pirates look comfortably the best team this year and it's theirs to lose already IMO.

A Poole KL final is more of a sure thing than Shovlar coming on here before that final saying Poole are massive underdogs and have heroically over achieved in 2014.
