crescent girl
From the Bandits' Newsletter: TIGER TALK Our visitors on Saturday are Glasgow's famous Tigers . Unusually, only one of their number this year is a former Bandit (you're trying to think who, aren't you?) but they will bring a vigorous mix of youth and experience -- they range in age from 18 to 40 -- to Shielfield and will provide a stiff enough test for the New Holland Bandits. Accompanied as always by their exceedingly-vocal fans, a night with the Tigers is never dull. Be sure to come along and join the fun -- and bring someone to hold on to! Robinh88
Seems you where a little over-zealous there Cresecent Girl - the feeling is mutual we are all equally excited enthralled by the Bandits I don't forsee this one being a classic more a run of the mill win for the Bandits I've yet to see a good performance from Kevin Wolbert at Berwick, hopefully he's attending Vissing to top score for the Bandits Looking forward to see Anders Thomson, possibly double figures for him What will Steen Jensen do? Home win - Tigers repay the compliment 21 hours later (in my humble opinion)
Paulco
The ex Bandit , if only briefly , would be Theo Pijper . Always love going to Berwick , start at the Brewers Arms - then round the corner to the Leaping Salmon - then over the bridge to the Queen's Head and finally arriving at the Black and Gold about 5 o clock . Do we care if we win or lose , well maybe a little bit . The craic on the terraces is always brilliant though .

Weeyin
Will be interesting to see how our youngsters get on at Shielfield, Dimitri did some laps there last year I believe, don't know how he did, but we will see on Saturday, looking forward to seeing Anders with better machinery than last year... if only he could gate !! Berwick is one of my fave away trips, always have a great day out there, just hope the weather is kind and it is not too cold..Think the Bandits will win with Glasgow winning on the Sunday , if the racing is as good as it was at Glasgow's last meeting , then I will be going home happy

Boobs
Away win. No doubt be a big party afterwards though regardless of the result. Why not? It's only a game. Surely you pay for entertainment and enjoyment of an evening out? Interesting to read in club newsletter about Hans Nielsen's involvement, by the way. screm
Jensen will be back in Berwick on Saturday, ready for the visit of Glasgow Tigers and hoping his starting technique will have been improved by talking things over with his famous pal, a rider his opponents used to refer to as ‘The Professor’ -- and that his bike will rocket away from the tapes, allowing us to echo Horatio (from Hamlet, Act 1, Scene 1) “And then it started like a guilty thing”

Bandits4eva
Why not? It's only a game. Surely you pay for entertainment and enjoyment of an evening out? . True... I aint complaining cos i just try to enjoy what i get to see of Berwick now But we ain't had any success apart from the 4s for a long time now. Stand on the terraces and you'll hear people get frustrated very easily now.

The 3rd benders are like me Scott... Will be found at Berwick matches wherever possible and able... I go cos I do enjoy the evening... The banter.. Any racing is a bonus (I'd rather spend my money there then in the town on a Saturday night ) I'm speaking about the home straight terracing... There is only so much those people will take...

Also maybe get a team manager in there who can actually motivate the riders to give there best at all times, regardless of tracks. YAMYAMBANDIT
If you want that, go to Edinburgh.. they will get you trophies Don't forget Newcastle, George is probably one of the most respected Promoter/Manager in PL speedway. Always gets the best out of his riders.
