I remember both when Wimbledon were in the Conference League - must have been 10 years ago.

Presume Niall was a spectator or mascot, since he would have been about 12 or 13 ten years ago
adz_mft
Presume Niall was a spectator or mascot, since he would have been about 12 or 13 ten years ago I'm guessing he was on about Lee Strudwick rather than Niall
Guest
I'm guessing he was on about Lee Strudwick rather than Niall Not so. I used to be in regular contact with Lee Strudwick. I may be 'an oldie' but not that old that I can't remember rider's name. Most likely then I saw Niall in after-the-meeting practices at Plough Lane. On the other hand, Jeremy Pestall does have a 'racing pedigree' of some years? The London Speedway forum lists these riders for Wimbledon's 2002 team squad: Wimbledon: Chris Hunt, Martin Williams, Jason Prynne, Gary Sweet, Nathan Stevens, Justin Elkins, Wayne Barrett, Roger Dickerson, Steve Braidford, Jeremy Pestell, Terry Day, David Osborn, Chris Geer, Phil Ambrose, Andre Cross, Gavin Hedge, Chris Johnson, Paul Lydes-Uings, Barrie Geer, Chris Mills, Nathan Irwin, Nathan Morton, Tom Brown, Russell Paine, Dyfed Evans, Matthew Tutton, Thomas Rowlett (transferred to Mildenhall), Peter Collyer (transferred to Carmarthen), David Meldrum (transferred to Edinburgh), Glen Phillips (transferred to Reading), Graeme Gordon (transferred to Somerset) Edited April 6, 2014 by Guest
