Hopefully it is a rain off, The BSI deserve everything they get.

I would not wish a rain off on any fan of speedway. Done too many of them in my time as I am sure have most here.

Only an idiot would say something like that.

Oh wait a minute I forgot................. :rofl::rofl:

Stories emerging in the UK national sports pages that Smolinski's NZGP engine has been banned due to modifications to the ignition system, which apparently allowed him to change ignition settings during a race!!!!?

MY info (wasn't there this year) is that he did have the ignition system fitted prior to practice but after a Jury meeting took it off and didn't use it in the actual SGP. There would have been numerous protests had he done so.

Not stories, official decision from FIM about controlled ignition, which apparently was not against the rules (although most likely a loophole?).

However the FIM have updated the technical regulations so that such controlled ignition systems is no longer allowed.

Nothing wrong with programmable digital ignitions apart froms rules have always said they cannot be adjusted while moving i beleive.

Lets hope all the SEC ones are rained off too then ;) Thinking about it maybe it would be a good idea as i cant make it so next weekend would be great for me :D
