iris123
Have any of you 3 read the article in question? Iris mentions.. 'sounds' like a good magazine.. surely if he has read it, it wouldn't 'sound' like one.. Don't need to read it to state "It sounds like a good magazine".Ghostwalker is Swedish,so should be able to read the mag.He isn't one to come out with rubbish as far as my forum experience of him has shown,so what he say's makes the mag "sound good".An interview with Castagna is something needed at this moment in time and why should i disbelieve what Ghostwalker say's is stated as saying in the mag? In fact if i didn't believe it someone would jump on me and say "well it is what is quoted in the mag" It is out in the newsagents. It is hardly that someone can come out with something that isn't there and no-one will ever find out he was lying......The fact that at some stage castagna might feel some heat from such a statement and then say it isn't what he said or he was mis-quoted,wouldn't be strange either. It happens almost everyday in politics and the person never backs down until a tape of the conversation is found etc. If we go that route then we can never believe anything we read unless we have absolute 100% proof to back it up.Close the forum down now, especially the general discussions section!!!!! theknow 2
Not sure BSI will be begging someone who turned down an invitation to ride in the whole series He was asked first to ride as it would be good to finish his gp career on a high at a track he has so much success on and rides so well. However he wanted to much money to come.

Ghostwalker
You can read an exempt from the article I mentioned here: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=74441&page=29&do=findComment&comment=2430273 As for Mr G, as I have written before he have declined the wild card for Bydgoszcz. BWitcher
This is not correct, don't blame the FIM, blame BSI who have been putting pressure on the FIM (which we all knew anyway) according to Mr. Armando Castagna himself. There is a long interview with him in the the latest issue (#1;2014) of Speedwayracing, So now we have the truth (see translation from f-s-p on other thread) and as suspected, there is no mention of 'putting pressure' from Armando Castagna in his interview whatsoever. He simply spelled out what we already knew. Which is precisely why I cautioned those diving in castigating BSI on the basis of a Onesport lackey's spin. f-s-p
With Ward possibly out with his thumb from this one, Jepsen Jensen is the next in line. He's currently also out with an injury. If it comes to that (neither can ride), the SGP comission can nominate ANY RIDER IN THE WORLD to ride instead of Ward. This is a fact from this years rules. Opens interesting possibilities... If not for this one, think about what can happen with the Finnish round!

f-s-p
MJJ's not injured, He's resting. LOL... We'll guess he has to. It's been really busy for him so far. Thats why he went to Chowa for practise and back to DK, cos he needed the rest...

If not for this one, think about what can happen with the Finnish round! Ward is not having an op on the thumb and will be at Bydgoszcz. However if there are any issues during the official practice with the thumb, he may withdraw. That would leave the organisers with only the track reserves to take his place wouldn't it?! Or would they put someone else on 'standby'??

Or would they put someone else on 'standby'?? If I was MJJ, I'd be at Pitkos with my kit on thursday morning. I think that once Ward has signed on for the meeting, the track reserves come to play... Before that I believe they are obliged to ask MJJ.
