A joke to see Miedzinski get the wild-card.

Robert Koschieca should be given the wild-card, He is Bygodschz through and through.

Don,t agree with your choice there are better riders than Koschieca who should have been given it .Either of the Pawlicki brothers for starters unless they and others have turned down the chance .Also if you are posting try and get the name of the track right . .

The Bidgosh GP would be have been a good opportunity to chuck in a Russian WC as after all was it not proposed that due to the glut of Polish rounds there would be WC other than Poles?

One of the Laguta's would be a good choice but I guess that worthy ideal was forgotten pretty quickly.

The field is weakened enough without Gollob and Sayfutdinov having been replaced by two also rans.

I would not push an Emil or Tomasz claim to a WC as they chose to sit it out and don't deserve one but there are plenty of non Poles who deserve a chance to show what they can do.

From what I've read, Gollob have declined a wild card to any of the Polish GPs.

It would have been nice to see Laguta ride if he was fit TBF, hopefully we will later in the season.

Well we will see if that holds up.

Frankly neither he nor Emil should be given one, and Emil is my fave GP rider.

Plenty of guys who deserve a spot.

I forgot he was still nursing an injury. Hopefully we will see one of the Lagutas in the WC places.

A fully fir Greg would be a match for anyone in the SGP.

I have just had a look on Kup bilet and cannot understand why the ticket sales are so poor so far for this GP-it`s heading for the lowest crowd ever for a Bydgoszcz GP. The Gollob factor may be one reason, any thoughts anyone ??

Spot on and also the lack of Emil as well.

Funny though I thought as soon as Bomber was announced in the main line up ticket sales would rocket :rofl:

I like the lad but just could not resist.

The SEC crowds will be an interesting comparisson

Wouldn't be surprised if this isn't something to do with the fall out from the winter troubles.Wasn't there talk of a boycott of BSI events in Poland? And then no Gollob + Emil certainly don't help in this neck of the woods

OneSport's propaganda against the SGP is very much to blame here. A gerneral anti-SGP feeling was created by the propaganda in Poland during the winter and many people have said they would boycott the SGPs.

Interest among the Polish fans for the SGP has fallen to an all-time low this year. This was evident even in the first round in NZ, with a lot less Poles traveling, compared to the past two years. Gollob is gone and there are only two Polish riders in the GP series. Neither of tehm has much charisma. Hampel was very mediocre in NZ and Kasprzak, even though riding exceptionally well, is a rider who has not a lot fans and followers even in Poland.

Perhaps it is also a question of ticket prices at Bydgoszcz being set too high.

I think the FIM have to take a fair bit of the blame for their actions over the winter.BSI rightly or wrongly got dragged into it as well in the minds of the fans. And they didn't endear themselves much to fans from Russia either by saying they should support the Finnish GP as a home meeting. So over the winter Polish,Russian and many other fans were reacting negatively to FIM/BSI.And you are right i do think prices are partly to blame and your point on the Polish representatives make it easy for the fans to boycott this.I think if Poland had a Gollob or Emil like rider in the competition the fans might not boycott the GP(s) in such numbers

This is not correct, don't blame the FIM, blame BSI who have been putting pressure on the FIM (which we all knew anyway) according to Mr. Armando Castagna himself.

There is a long interview with him in the the latest issue (#1;2014) of Speedwayracing,
