Ben91
You said this. And that was based on one meeting. And then they hammered you home AND away. So by that logic - you must be wooden spoon contenders. Simples. No it wasn't based on one meeting, that was my opinion before the season. Going by your logic Peterborough beat Leicester away, so they must be Elite League standard, we beat Peterborough away too though so we must be better than both and Plymouth are better than the lot. Simples.

TheScotsman
Was that an outside toilet or an inside one Ben?
Ben91
I still think it's a toilet side to be honest. Inside toilet with a heated seat on the last two night's performances apparently! Ben91
For some reason the words 'hole', 'digging' and 'stop' spring to mind. Why? I made a comment/prediction that proved to be wrong and I'm happily joining in the "banter." No holes being dug, life's too short to be unable to laugh at yourself.

Penny Cross
Unaware till now, but Friday saw a new track record! http://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/Rye-House-Rockets-42-Plymouth-Devils-48-Report/story-20920259-detail/story.html So the smallest track in League racing is now even smaller! It may have something to do with repositioning the start/finish line to the same location, as last year they were separated. The start line was nearer to the last turn, and the finish line nearer to the first bend, as I recall. When I came for the Somerset match I thought it actually looked bigger with the air fence in place. Mind you I only see it a small number of times a year when the Rebels visit. Roger MARTIN
No one saw that result coming, did they? Any news on Garrity?, frightening crash to watch. A combination of Rye riding badly and the Devils up for it made for a very one sided meeting. Devils: Barker rode poorly in his first 2 rides, but then it was back to normal. Benko was excellent value for each of his points. Newman rode the best I've ever seen him at the SBA.Has he finally realised the fastest way round is not on the white line? Jensen backed him up effectively. Simota was superb reminded me of Fisher, but in a lot more control! More nights like that will give the promotion a massive headache. Why drop him for Davies? Then again, they have changed their minds before...... Katajisto was in far more in control than last week. Reade got involved this time round, looking a lot better. Rockets: Kennett started strongly but faded, Tresarrieu was completely anonymous. Why give him the B/W when Bowen was the obvious one? Garrity was plain bonkers! Wild and out of control long before his big crash. Not seen him that bad since one of his early outings for Buxton .Boxall, same as Kennett. Bowen tried, but never seriously threatened. Lambert had a nightmare. Why didn't he take a ride in Ht14? Announcements were confusing to say the least. Overall, the Devils riders were really up for it. Even when being outgated, they all seemed to make some great 1st turns. "One swallow doesn't make a summer", but this was a very encouraging performance. Now to keep it up. That's a very good post Penny Cross, agree 100%, it was also good to see Kyle out giving advice to Ben, one if not the best I have seen a Plymouth side ride at home, and I have been going since the start, every race had something in it, Simota's race around the boards for four laps was a pleasure to witness, and worth more than the £14 i paid to get in, and Katajista's four laps with Kennett was up there to.
