Brian
No one has mentioned the battles between Kennett and Barker? Battle of the egos. Only thought was that as they appeared to be less than bosom buddies, how that impacts on Birmingham.
mdmc82
Battle of the egos. Only thought was that as they appeared to be less than bosom buddies, how that impacts on Birmingham. They never really got on at Coventry so will be interesting to see how they gel in a team now

mudflaps
I cannot work out how Rye have smashed Panthers twice and Panthers were smashing Plymouth until the flood light failure a couple of weeks ago.... Then this! Rockets obviously missing Garrity and Their GP star.... as for Lambert!!! Taxi!! TAXI!!! TAXI!!!
tonyd
Does anyone get on with Barker? Well I assume his mum does.
Devilforever
And as he is due to be a dad in 2 weeks time I assume there are more around, also a massive fan base at plymouth
lewy
How popular can kennet be amongst other riders,at least barkers not been caught cheating!
TheScotsman
Must be why the British team is so successful with those 2 in it.
torpointfanatic22
Agree with everything you said there! - also feel it was out of order Craig giving out the result from the GP that morning, I had already watched it but several people near me hadn’t and were fuming with him as they had asked me not to say anything about it. In the past they said if anyone wanted to know the result pay a visit to the box and they would tell them personally there. No one has mentioned the battles between Kennett and Barker? Indeed - Everyone has moaned about how dreadful Rye were and that Plymouth are still toilet but I thought the meeting served up some decent entertainment and the races between those two were excellent. I understand that people get annoyed if their team loses or don't appear strong enough (we've had it more than most since joining the PL) but if a neutral had turned up on Saturday night - I'd like to think they'd go again. Some first class racing (certainly the most passes i've seen at Rye in one meeting) - I may be in the minority but I'd sooner turn up and see that kind of entertainment week on week and win 50% of the time than see gate and go stuff and win all of them. But hey ho! How popular can kennet be amongst other riders,at least barkers not been caught cheating! To be fair Kennett may have cheated but generally comes across as a bloke pretty well. Sadly Ben has rubbed up a lot of opposing fans and riders the wrong way over the years.
lewy
Thats ok then so long as hes a nice bloke which hes not hes a cheat ben just needs to grow up but he a great no1 in the premier league and most teams would be happy if he rode for them imo
ruckerroo
I'm pleased simota is doing well for the devils, I know it's a few years back but he was having a fair time of it in the top league for reading . I think he got a very bad injury at peterboro and you know what speedways like, it can take ages to recover the confidence. Good luck to him, well liked he was .

torpointfanatic22
Thats ok then so long as hes a nice bloke which hes not hes a cheat ben just needs to grow up but he a great no1 in the premier league and most teams would be happy if he rode for them imo I was kind of expressing a view with regards to the comments most people said about no-one really liking Ben. As a rider I rate him higher than Kennett and agree he is a top number 1! Simota seems very commited and has good equipment he has impressed me but its still early days i think by the end of april we should have a better idea He was very impressive at Rye on Saturday and I'm told he was damn good at Plymouth the night before - He's giving the promotion a headache on that kind of form!
Roger MARTIN
Does anyone get on with Barker? Yeh his bike, most of the time, well it did after heat1 on Friday, he is in my book what every PL side needs to build a team, a great number 1, and he does what it says on the tin, gets the team points, he's a out and out winner, we should be happy he wants to ride for the club. How popular can kennet be amongst other riders,at least barkers not been caught cheating! Not everyone's cup of tea is Ben, but one thing for sure, he knows how to entertain the supporters, and to be honest, that's all that interest me, what he gets up to off the track, is his own business, and i'm sure that's the same with Lee, you cant say well done lad to him on the track, then slap his wrist off the track, and tell him to behave.
