The Pedaler
Just hope the appearence of Bomber doesn`t put the mockers on it, you would expect Bomber to be leading the way but who knows ?..otherwise Bees in with a good chance... A rider with a grudge to bear and a point to prove...makes him a dangerous proposition.

Oh the irony, Mr Pedalbin talking about others with a grudge Harris had an offer from his parent club, most riders return under such circumstances.
Brandon
Boy I'm looking forward to this. Not seen any action yet ! I'm expecting the Brummies to up their game but the Bees to nick it. Let's hope for some good, fast and safe races. Come on the Bees!

Guest GiveusaB
Another hammering on the cards ! Boy how 12 months can change the fortunes of a team so easily!? Nothing will improve at Birmingham this season with the set of riders that we have, I'm not blaming the riders, they just dont have the same ability as the opposition IN ALL DEPARTMENTS! One rider I dont fear, is HARRIS ! He cant get out of the starts and never will do! The danger man for me is FISHER, he looked very fast in the Selco meeting 2 weeks ago! psycho3a
Have i missed something ?? Ben Barker at number 1 and Danny King at 3, Can the top 5 now ride in any position as im sure Ben Barker has a lower average than Danny King, Happy to be shot down if im wrong - Edited as found the answer to my own question : Top three riders by MA ride at No.1, No.3 or No.5 4th and 5th riders by MA ride at No.2 or No.4 Fast-track draft riders ride at No.6 or No.7 Tactical rides can only be taken by riders in positions 1 to 5 and are permitted between Heats 5 and 11 (the Tactical Zone), excluding Heat 9. First occasion when team is 10 or more points in arrears; second occasion when team is 12 or more points in arrears. Sure I read your heatleaders have to be at 1,3 and 5, but the number one doesn't have to be at number one, in PL days Jason Lyons always faired better at 3 than 1. Woz01
Having King at 3 means he will have 3 rides in the tactical zone if needed.
Guest GiveusaB
I dont think King's been put there for that reason? he's our major concern at the moment! I think it's because they think Barker will fair better in the first heat? King will be lucky if he takes all his programmed rides IMO, if he doesnt click tonight, then I'd use Starke for a reserve ride and give him more track time! Barker isnt known as a gater so I dont think thats the reason for the change, Eastbourne have done the same at Poole tonight putting Bjarne at 3.

Guest GiveusaB
TBH our first 5 would struggle against the oppositions 6 and 7 ! So any position wouldnt change much IMO !

david2905
I suspect the thinking is King goes better having watched a couple of heats to see how the track behaves.
