trophykid
Anyone remember this machine from 1973/74. Apparently Eric Boocock tested the machine at Coventry without mishap. Was it ever used competitively? Do any of the contributers here have any personal memories? In light of the current F2 speedway bikes, it's interesting that a motocross engine formed the basis of a speedway bike 40 years ago. Guest
This is not what you are looking for, but there are various BSA references in the bike write-ups which may be of interest to you? http://www.vft.org/RouitMuseum/Gallery/Speedway.html

This IS the bike you're looking for. http://www.b50.org/speedway.htm For Coventry, that should read Nigel Boocock. Having watched him in his initial 2nd Half/post mtg rides at Perry Barr in 1972(?)73, I spoke with Alan Graham just 2 years ago, about his time with the machine, which was derived from the BSA Victor 441cc scrambler which Jeff Smith rode with great success, - World Championships - , in the '60s. Alan told me the machine in now in a speedway museum in Scotland.
