spin king
Interesting that no one has started a thread on tomorrows match. Newcastle appear to a team that is built on all round strength, but the feel good factor is back at Sheffield, and I cannot see anything other than a Sheffield win. One thing that I looking forward to is heat 13 with Simon Stead and Adam Roynon, both exciting riders around Owlerton and I think that there will be few teams that will get anything in heat 13. Overall I think that Big Joe's Tigers should have too much in the tank for the Diamonds and I will go a Sheffield win by 10.
Chewbacca
The Diamonds traditional score at the D-Bowl is 29. Any more and no blown engines is a decent result.

As for Nielson & Poole, Simon seemed to go quite well on Monday, certainly had the same pace as Bates, but not gating as well as him. Poole looks like he's got problems with his bikes, which needs sorting asap. Know he's coming back from a bad injury and needs to gain some confidence quickly. So this is based on your bigger track and our lack of power?. Hang on though, remind me again where the Dynamite Kid and the Kerminator ply their elite league services.

OdsalBoy
Sheffield win for me tonight, Steady & Roynon will do some damage and Andre looks to have rolled a few years back and hes at reserve, a real weapon to have there ! Lanham looks solid and young Bates could surprise a few. Newcastle dangermen - Lewis Kerr & Anton Rosen.

The White Knight
Anyone know if the 'Chat Room' will be open tonight on the 'Diamonds' Website? I've looked and can't see any reference to it. Knowing me - I'll be looking in the wrong place. Thank you.

OdsalBoy
STEAD: Captain & legend will want to keep up momentum by slamming in a big score tonight. Will lead from the front and do a solid job for the team. Cant wait to see stylish Simon take to the tapes. NIELSEN: Nielsen will want to get dialled in and amongst the action. I really rate young Nielsen and cant wait to see him getting involved tonight. Will want to chip in with some useful points. LANHAM: Master stroke of a signing, Leigh loves Owlerton and will definitely weigh in with some healthy figures tonight, whilst his cool head, and useful advice to the other riders will go a long way. Great rider, great guy and great to have in the pits. Leigh will surely want to do a job on home shale tonight. POOLE: Taylor can ride Owlerton well, once his machinery is tuned in he will fly, maybe tonight is the night. Another great young signing with stacks of potential. Will surely bag a few points tonight. Go Taylor ! ROYNON: Super Adam has got off to a flyer so far. Adam will want to grab as many points as possible this evening - and is well capable ! Adam can fly around Owlerton and im sure he will be amongst the thick of it. Nothing would please me more than to see Adam have a great, safe season whilst slamming in the points. Linking up with Steady on home shale is dangerous for any oppostion rider. Go Adam ! (For me Adam will top score tonight). COMPTON: Our old mate Andre looks like he's rolled back the years and on his day nobody can touch him. Real weapon at reserve and will bag some big points tonight, Owlerton is his playground. BATES: Young Bates is a great signing, no fear and so much passion. WIll do the job required tonight, and as time goes on he will just get better and better. Great signing and will love it out there tonight.
graz gp
Tigers should win to-night just hope Leigh, Adam and Taylor have got their bikes sorted, one or two gremlins the other night. Steady will be fine as long as he has is gating head on. It will be interesting how Andre and Josh ride together. I bet Andre will try and help young Josh if he gets the chance. Can't see any probs for Roynon, but as I've stated before Poole needs to get his equipment right. As for Andre don't think he'll have to help Josh after seeing him go on Sunday & Monday! They'll probably only have the one ride, possibly two together, depending on what the score is after heat 13.

Steve55
Has the weather been kind ??Been misty, but dry all day as has the rest of the midlands I believe. BBC weather at 1.45 pm stated possibility of showers later this evening, but you never really know, been like this last two days! I'll be going down there for 7.30pm whatever. NJC71
Good effort from the Diamonds. Just a fall away from would have been an important point. Fancy us to hammer Sheffield at home so we'll need a win at either Scunny or Redcar to have a chance of going through. Not impossible.
