Oh dear is all that needs to be said! Glad I wasn't there... Quite fed up of seeing Edinburgh do one on us

Your top 5 done okay Sarah, but only 2 points from the reserves as against 13 plus 4 is a mismatch,

It is indeed a mismatch... Just fed up of seeing teams who nick it from us in Heat 15... Most painful time for a result like that!

Doolan solid and done the job he was brought in to do. Bellego solid without being brilliant, his best kits probably in Poland. Weathers as commited as always, Kus another Josef Franc, total gating tart, doesnt look interested when at the back. Vissing cant be faulted, full effort and rode hard and fair. Jensen quite frankly does not look suited to the Berwick track, but time will tell. The way this team was put together relies on high scores from the reserves so clearly when this doesnt happen Berwick will be in trouble. Oh and nice processional racing 👍.

Kus is a total enigma, In the 3 seasons at Redcar, had 2 good away meetings. Paid 16 at your place in 2011. Strangely did nothing at Shielfield after that. 17 at Scunny in 2012.

Can't understand all the hype for Jensen. Last rode in the UK 9 years ago. 1 season at the Isle Of Wight. Did well in his own country, so what British conditions and tracks completely different.

Reports are that Steen Jensen was utter guff tonight?

Only Berwick could sign a rider who beats Speedway legend Nicki Pederson U21 champ and probably future World Champ Patryk Dudek, MJJ and Linus Sundstrom - but gets 5-1'd by probably one of the worst riders around Berwick in Justin Sedgman.

As Emilali Top 5 did well enough - Steen Jensen needs to do better otherwise we will not make the Top6 especially considering we will carry Liam Carr. So basically unless he pulls his finger out same craic as last year

Big crowd for John though and the Monarchs will be back for the PL in big numbers

Well done Monarchs... hopefully we learn our lessons... I wont hold my breath

Quite agree, it's only 3rd meeting of the season!!. Give steen and kus a bit time to get dialled in and if no better in a few more meetings then shout for changes!!. Still got another 3 or 4 weeks until the league starts!

Kus only needs to dial in the first 5 yards. If he's not in front by that stage it's race over. Been the same ever since he came to the UK. Why expect him to change now?

Nothing better than winning a last heat decider! Brilliant stuff from the boys tonight all scored important points. 6 points behind to win by 4 great team effort.

May I also add it wasn't actually that cold tonight compared to every other time i make the trip down.

Berwick

Doolan - was solid as expected

Bellego - solid also don't know how he managed to get back into the rerun the second time around in heat 11 after trying to push derek out wide in the first corner and making a mess off it

Kus - good first ride cause he made a gate other than that poor

Matty - Solid as ever that 1/2 bend in heat 14 was amazing full gas right round the fence and squeezing between the monarchs boys and the fence down the back straight still trying to work out ho he managed it

Vissing - good first couple of rides, beaten by cook in next 2 then went missing in heat 15

Carr - struggled

Jensen - some claimed he was going to push onto an 7/8 point average no chance he was pants

Edinburgh

Cookie - head and shoulders above the rest so much speed it ridiculous

Aaron - on the pace in his first 2 replaced in his 3rd ride then a good 3rd in his 4 ride looked far better in that race

Max - Slow start but great final ride

Deek - done as expected to do

Masters - looked quick all night and great ride in heat 15

sedgmen - great first ride then looked down on power after that

Worrall - what can you say lightning from the starts and fast and smooth then after. definate trump card for us this season

Could see this result coming tonight, as Plymouth also showed at Rye any team with a top drawer number one and an on fire reserve taking seven rides doesn't need too much from the other five to claim the win.
