SCB
Wonder how many of the fickle Bees 'supporters' are calling for Havelocks head now?.......one victory and it's ultimate cockiness from some...Coventry totally deserved this but Swindon were absolutly dire..Pedersen exempted Havelock is still a moron who should be sacked. Falcon Hammer
I think Havelock's got a chance of creating a bit of team spirit now Kasprzak has gone
A ORLOV
What a meeting for Swindon. Poor Darryl hitting the fence from the start where he and Jason were bouncing off each other after the start. It is reported that he has a broken nose, he was lucky not to have more injuries. Killer had a good first ride then one engine failure and a bike smoking away in his third ride. Bjarne did well as a guest. Nick did well with Peter in his second ride against Hansen and Howarth. Steve Worrall and Simon picked up as the meeting went on. Nicolai looked out of touch and will need to improve fast. Â Coventry had a good guest in Cam who went well, as did Jason Garrity. The rest of the team put in a solid performance. Â Well done Coventry but do not expect the same result on your next visit. RumOldBird
Must have been the Blunsdon micro-climate again because in RWB it was lashing it down. That's what influenced my non-attendance and at least I didn't get short-changed. Those that did attend were short-changed but that's alright it happens all the time!Spot on Steve. We drove back to Lyneham and it was a lot worse at RWB and towards Lyneham as proven by the flooded A3102Â Any news about Daryl? Steve0
A few quotes from Twitter: Â Nicolai Klindt making all the tracks have air fence and trying to make the sport more safe, but running half a meeting while it was pouring it down? Â Richard Ainslie Complete farse at Swindon tonight forced to race a race in the pouring rain to get a result!! How to lose fans after the first meeting! speedybee
I'm sure Bees won despite Havelock. Really despise him and always will, whether we win or not.

Just sayin'...... If I remember rightly that track was disgusting as waterlogged in that meeting and the riders didnt want to ride if from heat 3 but had to race 7 more races. everybody just went round slowly.  This meeting was called off due to visabiliy not due to the track and riders were able to ride on it with no track inspection called until heat 9 so only 1 more race to go Edited April 4, 2014 by mdmc82
G the Bee
Remember how Coventry fans accused Poole of being cheats because they wanted to ride heat 10 at Belle Vue so that they would get a result? Just sayin'...... I very much doubt it was Coventry who called for the track inspection after heat 9, a heat before a result could be called. A tactic which I suspect backfired spectacularly. Â Just sayin'......
BritPete
It's far to early in the season to come to decide much about this Swindon team. It's worth noting though, that 5, of our 6 remaining riders, all managed to win a heat. The best is yet to come! Well done Coventry, you deserved the win.

Great sportsmanship  I think Swindon will be strong at home during the season esp when Batchelor is back. As Coventry fans we will just be thankful if we manage to get a home meeting lol. trubruv
So you pay for 15 heats and get 10 and you don't feel short changed?? I am with you steveO on this one! How can a match be decided with 5 heats to go when the team behind has every opportunity to to win or at least get a point from the match!  As for the visability, in my opinion it should have been called off after heat 8! as it was dificult to make out the riders from 50 metres! so god knows how the referee could make any proper decissions! yet another nail in the coffin for British Speedway! And yes I am very disapointed that my wife and I threw away £36 last night !
Steve Shovlar
Imagine if this one of the last meetings of the regular season and Coventry needed the 4 points to qualify for the playoffs. Swindon didn't want to continue but the Coventry riders came out to the tapes for heat 10. The ref said to continue and Coventry got the required gap for 4 points. Then suddenly Coventry said the conditions were not safe and that the meeting should be abandoned. Â Ring any bells? Â Lets have 60m pages of bile then! Â Oh hang on it's not Poole!
