Plymouth V Somerset (afc) 29/03/2014

I think we'll all have a better idea after the two away matches this week, Plymouth look poor.

Two weeks later they look good, being such a no all, you should no better than right a team off, before the PL season starts, or are you now going to say, Somerset look poor.

This is still a poor Plymouth side, masked by the flying Katajisto at reserve. The moment he goes I to the main body and Benko who is poor drops the reserve it will only get worse.

Somerset have been somewhat inconsistent, looking world beaters at times and not so good the next - but there's no doubting last weekend we made you look a lot lot better than you actually are.

Never said I was a know all, just giving an opinion on a speedway forum about a speedway team if that's OK with you!

Plymouth have performed pretty well since my comment so well done to them, but I'll still be surprised if they aren't in the lower reaches of the PL come Sept/Oct.

Grow up, when you say last weekend, does that include Friday, when your team hammered a poor team, no sorry your team didn't did they, staying on your bike is a big thing in speedway, something a few of your riders couldn't do on Saturday, must of been one of those non world beater weekends from Somerset.

Najjer has got a point though Kalle can't take 7 rides a meeting when he moves up into the main body of the team. It will make the
devils top 5 stronger but will make them a lot weaker at reserve as benko isn't going to bang in double figures week in week out from reserve

The worse thing you can say in speedway is a team looks poor, because the next week they will make your comment look silly, i'm not saying the Plymouth team is good, I don't, and I don't think the team will last long the way it is now, but I would never say any team looks poor, I just enjoy watching speedway, I just leave the expert opinions to Najjer the no it all, who feels is has to slag teams off, instead of just enjoying the sport.

I can't see the team staying has it is, your right Kalle can't take 7 rides week in week out, and when he moves up the team will not do well at reserve level, but if the Plymouth manager is any good he will see that, and act, if he don't then he isn't worth his salt has a team manager.

I'd be very very surprised if our team remains with the same 7 riders after Kalle moves up. With averages as they are we may just be able to squeeze Alex Davies (if he is still coming over) in for Ben Reade. That could well see Kyle at reserve so we won't be weaker at reserve at all. Big IF mind you!

Somebody else having a go at poor Najjer, it must be my lucky day...
