Pantherite
I wouldn't have thought a temporary bar (even the main bar is only used infrequently) was the right place to keep and serve real ale? Bottled would be fine!
hans fan
I don't know of any other track that does this, even Coventry where it is the same promotion. I've got dodgy knees as well and once I've sat down I won't be getting up for the National Anthem. I've got no respect for hunting/shooting Royalty. My daughter asked who had died when she heard it
Panthers89
Now don't get me wrong, I love the National Anthem, as I believe in our countries morals, sure sometimes its not to everyones taste, but you wont ever please everyone. BUT to have it every week, is going to be tedious, its just ruining it, as when you hear it every so often, it means more, every week is a joke TBH. Well it might not be too bad as they'll perhaps play a different Queen song next week.
Bagpuss
Dreadfully letting down the Panthers. Disgraceful from a rider supposedly good enough to ride in the GP`s. Must admit even i`m surprised by how poor he has been. Thank god he isn't in the EL. Yet you chastise people for criticising Proctor's dreadful start to the season? Dear me.
Paulco
to win a meeting with only 7 heat winners is good effort!! Has anyone actually told Ales that he's now riding PL rather than EL and therefore 5 points at home is not acceptable...! Seems to be a touch of the Henning Bagers about Ales Dryml . Scores about 5 whether it's EL or PL

proud panther
Dryml needs to bring his best bikes to England. Shades of Jepsen Jensen in my opinion.

Bagpuss
Proctor has a good record in the PL. Dryml's might be if you give him more than two official fixtures to get going. Just like you are giving Proctor. As an aside one or two people have commented on him shutting off in the first turn, that's how he's been since he nearly died on the track at Oxford, he won't change now. But if he can get his bikes and gating sorted he'll score some decent points IMO, particularly at home.

I've got dodgy knees as well and once I've sat down I won't be getting up for the National Anthem. I've got no respect for hunting/shooting Royalty. Only seems logical then that it is introduced at Coventry asap to spread the joy to a larger and wider audience My solution at Peterborough would be to play it as the parade vehicle is going round with the riders on board, we may or may not be sitting at that point and can choose our action, then the presentation can continue unhindered Edited April 3, 2014 by Crump99

Noodles
I'm concerned that the electrical power surges still haven't been fully resolved. The floodlights dipped down during one race and was noticeably darker for a split second. Then later on in the meeting the floodlights on the 3rd/4th bend went very bright and were noticeably a lot brighter than the rest. Still it did gave me the perfect view of that move by the fish in 15. Ales is a huge concern now, was very poor again. Unless we signed Tai Woffinden or Darcy Ward at no.1, there was never going to be anyone good enough to replace Doyle.

A number of people in Yaxley, Werrington, Longthorpe and even Stamford say that for several days they noticed their lights flickering or even suddenly dimming before brightening again. Some people have taken to the social networking site Facebook to highlight their concerns. But a spokeswoman for UK Power Networks said they had only received two complaints about the problem. She said: “We are aware there have been a number of faults on underground cables in the Peterborough area in the last couple of weeks. “We believe these faults are unrelated. Repairs have been carried out and we are hopeful this has rectified the reported problems, which include lights flickering and brief power interruptions. She added: “We are continuing to monitor the situation and apologise to customers who have experienced problems with their electricity supply. “Regarding the cause of the faults, there can be a number of reasons, such as third party damage or vibrations of the road. “As far as we’re aware we have had two calls with regard to flickering supplies in the Peterborough area in the last couple of weeks - one at the end of March and one on Tuesday night. “Both faults have now been fixed.
