Tsunami
Noticed in the Speedway Star that they are saying a 3.30pm start for this tie. Please note that it is the usual start time of 6.30pm, and a miss print in the SS. Be interesting to see Redcar back at Brough, after they were forced to change the team because of Kossa in OZ, and replaced by ex Diamond Richard Hall. Most of their team has ridden Brough well in some meetings, so if they click all together they might make it hard for us to get a decent lead before the second leg at Redcar on Thu 10th April. Weather is decent and warmer so we might be a bit warmer than recent outings.

NJC71
Aggregate score doesn't count for anything though. First meeting of the season for me. Lawson scores well at Brough if he gates. Never know what to expect from Summers or Wilko but Skidmore is normally dire around Brough and Hall only normally capable of the odd good ride if the outside line is working. Looks like a comfortable home win to me.

ellioth4
Team Line-Ups for tomorrow's meeting: Newcastle Diamonds: Ludvig Lindgren, Christian Henry, Stuart Robson, Lewis Kerr, Anton Rosen, Chris Schramm and Lewis Rose Redcar Bears: Richard Lawson, Carl Wilkinson, Hugh Skidmore, Richard Hall, Aaron Summers, Jan Graversen, Luke Crang. Excellent local derby for the first league cup meeting of the season. diamond_ren
Can only see a comfortable home win for this, redcar carry to many passengers at brough...... Be lucky if Skidmore, Hall, Wilkinson, Crang & Graversen score about 15 between them

Bellers101
Big home win for the Geordies against a very poor looking Redcar style. Hope they have repaired the Newcastle track after the winter alterations.
Chewbacca
Any chance of a fog off? Can barely see a hand in front of your face in Cramlington.

Tsunami
Been to the track and there is little to no fog there. Track quite heavy, after standing water from the weeks rain, but Jonny and Co doing a fine job to get it raceable.

NJC71
God that was a struggle. 40 minute delay, iffy track, usual pitiful Redcar showing, freezing cold weather, over two hours to get through it....not one that will live long in the memory.
