Django
Hopefully the guys can build on last weekends win over Newcastle. I think Jacko said Ricky and Ash would be missing from this one, extra ride for everyone apart from Josh and Schrammy replacing Ash

AllyN
I'm looking forward to my first trip to Derwent Park. I'm hoping the Tigers can at least keep it close against a team I think are the strongest in the PL. Can anyone tell me the pay at the gate prices for adults? jenga
prices have increased drenaticly from last year from 13 pounds . inc race card/programme.. to a mind blowing 14 pounds, plus free race card/programme. BUT STILL THE CHEAPEST SPEEDWAY IN THE PL AND THE BEST TEAM .LOL. thats the price for ADULTS entry, grandstand or ground. if still unsure go to the official worky web site or the unofficial worky one.. both are run by the promotion, so no fantasy prices.. Sorry, not the cheapest. Berwick is £14 for adults, £10 concession and all kids under sixteen are free. I won't begin to talk about season-ticket prices. Worky are good on prices, better than most -- but most certainly higher-priced than your pals on the other side. Robinh88
Both represent good value that being said Workington's racing is much more open with good racing, Berwick follows processional racing with riders spread about 20 meters in 7 or 8 races

When you factor in the racecard it's cheaper. Also the Berwick season ticket only includes normal league and league cup, the Workington one includes more ( last years was the Ian Thomas Shield, all league, both cups, play offs, GB vs Aus and Cumberland Open) That's 17 meetings vs guaranteed 19, more than likely 22-24 meetings

comet49
Wolves, we have priority over Kyle, Poole over Josh.
Paulco
can't remember, but who has priority over Ricky Wells should fixtures clash, Workington or Wolverhampton? We heard tonight that it will be r/r for Wells and Chris Schraam in for Ashley Morris . This doubling up or down whatever it is , is going to be troublesome .

frankie
This doubling up or down whatever it is , is going to be troublesome . I certainly agree with that. The powers that be seem to spoil the sport more each year - I wonder whose side they are on sometimes.

stoneylegend
Massive display from our lads a lot better night , track was much better too. Rene and Josh unbelievable as a pairing!!!!
Lord Lucan
Very solid team performance tonight from the Comets with Rene the stand out ably followed by Josh!! Positive signs from the rest of the guys, with a mention in dispatches for Schrammy, of better thing's to come, Millsy starting to look the rider better machinery always promised, really pleased for him, Kyle still rubbish at starting but at least looked more comfortable tonight and Mason certainly improved on the drier track!! Racing not brilliant but enough promise there to show we will be particularly difficult to shift at DP this year and, hopefully, quite a few away as well?? As for Glasgow, I don't think they will be anywhere near as bad this time around once they get together, some very useful young riders in their side who did show more than a modicum of talent for the future, Thomsen very good the more the meeting went on and I thought young Berge showed a bit of promise despite not worrying the judge, who knows what confidence he would have got from a race win tonight, had he not fallen off while in front, and a good effort from Lykke Nielsen!! Think the experienced riders let Glasgow down a little tonight, certainly expected more from them round here than we got but hey, bit more track time and they will be more awkward to beat but a few positives definitely to take from tonight, some good lads there!!
Gazc
Well not a lot to be said on the scoreline other than we will not be the only team to be beaten by a margin by a very good Workington team they really did look very good tonight however all is not doom & gloom from our perspective whilst on paper it looks a bit of a drubbing the reality is that every single rider was well on the pace tonight and all had there moments. Workington were much sharper away from the starts and deserved there win but there is a lot to look forward too from this team one thing for certain we shall not finish bottom which after last season is an improvement well done to Workington who are justified as one off the pre-season favourites. Chewbacca
It would be great if Rene really fulfilled the potential we first saw at Newcastle. I rated him a better prospect than Larsen at that time but the broken leg really knocked his confidence. A fit and confident Bach is a 10 point PL man, no question.
