racers and royals
KK broke his left thumb in the Leszno crash. SteveLyric2
Not sure why KK was giving his brother so much grief walking back to the pits?? Also had a go at Sundstrom apparently?! Glad Shamek kept out of the way!!

uk_martin
What a talent Zmarzlik is. Would be great to see him in the grand prix, but with 3 poles already in not much chance of a pick. I wouldn't rule out the "Euro's" though. Nobblytriers
The crowds at these meetings are massive!! The clip from Lezno with KK seems to have a better crowd than most GP's. How do they do that? Also, with large Polish communities living in the UK, does anyone have any idea how many (if any) go and support our tracks up and down the country? If it's not many (and I suspect that is the case), then is there a reason why we can't attract them through the gates? Would love to see crowds like that, the atmosphere must be great. And that is despite not understanding a single word she says. Your good deed for the day. Thank you. Alan. On a serious note regarding Sunday, we should all pray for good weather in Pardubice on Saturday, as i see from Sportowefakty that if the Under 21 final round is off, then it will be re-run on Sunday and the Polish matches are off. All down on our knees to The Sun King.

If it's not many (and I suspect that is the case), then is there a reason why we can't attract them through the gates? Would love to see crowds like that, the atmosphere must be great. Polish crowds are a strange thing. What matters to them is their team result first and foremost. after that (and some way after that too) their country, and barely on the radar are star riders, with the sole exception of Tomasz Gollob. British fans will have their favourite riders, and they will look to where there is a prospect of an exciting meeting and go to it, irrespective of their home team loyalties...that's why you will always get "speedway tourists" on the terraces at British tracks, e.g. Coventry fans to see Birmiingham v Belle Vue, or whatever. In Poland, you'll never see a Falubaz fan at Gdansk v Wroclaw. What matters to a Stal, or a Falubaz fan is their team. Quality racing is almost secondary to them, as are the riders involved in a meeting. An example of this was when I went to Gorzow when the SWC was there a couple of years ago. On the Thursday, in the play-offs then, there were 25 races, and the 4 teams featured 11 SGP riders, and 9 other top notch riders. British logic would say that for £5 admission for that meeting, the stadium would be packed. None of it. It was emptier than the next week when Stal Gorzow rode a league meeting. An interesting side line to the "how do they do that" question, is how is it that the average age of the crowd at a Polish league match is under 30, compared to the average age of fans in Britalin who are over 60? To answer to the second part of the post quoted, you're probably right, there won't be many. Part of the reason may be my observation above, and the other part may be that if a 20-something year old Pole visits a British track, and is amongst people two or three times his age, what's he going to have in common with any of them? Fish out of water tend not to survive very long.
Trees
Young people are the ones who want to go out and have a good time, especially on a Sunday afternoon eh, not much chance of that here! We just need to persuade young people here that speedway is a good night out but we also need to make it a good night out with better presentation etc! We will for sure. "Go Rzeszow". We really miss your insights, observations and translations. All the best. Alan. Super stream as always on the Krakow media player link here. http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport Seems like good weather in Poland today- around 16c and sunny. All teams should be required to have a babe like her as owner. UK Elite League please note! Still awestruck by that back straight stand and the pits. Be nice for Pawel to see his home town team back in Extraligue. With 6 points to make up, I fancy they can do it. Sadly have to leave for an hour, but "Go Rzeszow" Join you folks later. The totally unbiased female commentator looks pleased. And i'm pleased to see her. In a split second a 5-1 turns into a 2-4. Makes it a vital heat 12 coming up. KING KENNI wins it for Rzeszow.
