Polish Extraleague Play-off Final Sunday October 5th Plus Div 1

Recommended Posts

Damn I am on my way to Seattle on the 8th so will miss out on that. :(

Will have to see if I can catch a repeat of the Danish one and same goes for the Best pairs. Might catch the Polish matches on Youtube.

The rest will depend where I am and if I have the Internet.

Hope to see a couple of those at least.

I will just have to keep checking in here and see what is available.

Hopefully get the SGP as I am in Washington DC that day and should be able to see the free SGP broadcast that Alan said was so good.

And not forgetting next week on Thursday RUSSIAN LEAGUE!,

Danish league is always repeated at least 4 times during the days following-will put the dates and times up on that thread.

And not forgetting next week on Thursday RUSSIAN LEAGUE!, and Saturday BEST PAIRS from Germany.

Whilst no Sky coverage next week we will likely also have several live streams from the UK Elite League on Bet365.

Dependent on whether the Russian League is again broadcast we have a potential 9 out of 11 days coverage for tv/online viewers from;

Sunday 4th May Polish Ekstraliga

Tuesday 6th May Swedish Eliserien

Wednesday 7th May Danske Liga

Thursday 8th May Russian League

Friday 9th May Danske Liga

Saturday 10th May Best Pairs Cup (Germany) AND Polish Ekstraliga

Sunday 11th Polish Ekstraliga

Tuesday 13th May Swedish Elitserien

Wednesday 14th May Danske Liga AND UK Elite League

Etc., etc. etc, throughout the summer with the SGP/SWP/SEC too and multiple Bet365 streams in any given week. Mondays will normally be UK Elite League on Sky.

Who forgot the Best pairs from Landshut ?? -it was me (in post 339 ) who told you that the Polish league match was on at the same time. :approve:

Don't think you will have a problem with the GP here mate.

http://speedwaygp.com/

Put this on your laptop and you'll be set. It really has been the best stream anywhere, so far, for the 2 GPs. All you have to do, wherever you are is cry "Help" and i'll put up whatever I've got for you in the spirit of our helpful International section.. :t: Hope you have a great trip. All the best. Alan.

Cheers Alan and R&R that's why I enjoy the international section here :)

I will check the forum out regularly whilst I am in the states.

My hotels all have the internet of course but I have 3 days on trains which won't and obviously I will be looking around a lot :)

Washington DC is 5 or 6 hours behind so I might find a nice WiFi spot and watch the GP whilst enjoying a lunch in the sun.

Who said anyone had forgotten anything in a critical or blaming sense??? I await you ever using the phrase 'don't forget.....' i'll jump on you when you do and say in an indignant tone who forgot!!! ;)

I only made the post because your mention of the various European meetings coming up reminded me that i had noticed a few weeks ago that i'm going to be compiling racecards nearly every day of the week this season and this upcoming schedule was going to be more or less the start of that.

I was already well aware of the televised clashes, but i'm always hesitant to publish fixtures, teams, news or anything ahead of you because you seem to get in a huff if you don't publish it first, therefore 9 times out of 10 i'm forever sitting back and waiting until you spot or get around to posting such things before we can start commentating on something.

Anyways i'm glad that you are making use of all the sources i originally gave years ago :approve:

The piece in dark type is completely untrue--someone has to keep upto date with the fixtures ,TV ,etc. Rather than have a thread for every week-with me starting the thread I can edit and change the title-like I have done for the Danish league today from an enquiry about coverage to actual coverage.I await an apology(and keep it short !)

I'll keep it as long or short as i desire.

Let's not make a saga out of this, but just to respond to your post.....lol i hadn't noticed you were changing the title of this Polish thread. Pros and cons to that i guess, but regarding the latter it means one has to plough through page after page of the thread if one wanted to read about an earlier week, not a frugal use of the forum's resources and extremely time-consuming for the searcher.

Cool that someone (yourself) makes a habit of relaying news from Sportowefakty and elsewhere in one place. However, from past postings i have notice you take umbrage if someone doesn't wait for you to be 'first' with the news or changes. Additionally going on past surprising posts popping up you seem to in a race all the time - but i can assure you that you're the only one racing!

What wasn't true about the part in bold font?

1."I was already well aware of the televised clashes" TRUE

2. "but i'm always hesitant to publish fixtures, teams, news or anything ahead of you because you seem to get in a huff if you don't publish it first" TRUE

Soooo......Apology for what???

Can we get back to discussing aspects of the thread's topic now, gee i made a post that was perfectly connected with what had gone before, it had zero insulting or critical content but you somehow took it as that and subsequently created a post that i am forced to reply to it's content.

Absolute utter cr*p -you show me any post from me where I have supposedly "got in a Huff ".

Yes I do get annoyed when people don`t read threads and post things already posted days ago(yes and you are one of them) and if you want an example-I did a complete winters preview of the following season`s Polish league -team line-ups ,etc etc and you out of the blue post (admitting you didn`t follow Polish speedway) wishing someone did like Ghostwalker for the Polish league. If I remember rightly I even said in the OP that mine wouldn`t be as good as his Swedish thread.

So if I were you stick to something you know about-Racecards(which I do use) and on which I have helped you with info.

Well we are only human mate :)

I think you two guys are both great and this International forum is so fortunate to have two people (not forgetting the others who do exactly the same for other parts of the International section) who go to so much trouble for the rest of us.

But you are both acting like children and perhaps it might be worth realising that and just cyber shake hands and start acting like adults as it's gonna be a long season and you two will probably have killed each other by August if you continue like this :)

I enjoy the International section but we don't want to see it become like the crazy zone EL/PL sections now do we?

That`s fair enough-but you would know I have never "gone off on one " if someone has started a thread before me-it`s just untrue. what I do like is dates (and so do the mods ) and if it`s live on TV and only this week I asked Michaelcroucher politely if he could edit his title for tonights international which he did.

We should have a GP there and have this instead of the champagne spray. Long may the tradition continue. Any video by any chance? All the best. Alan.

Not of this week-however just found 2 hours of last seasons http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVMmDMCpRWA

Super First off i'm totally bloody amazed that they got this on after all that rain.and not one crash the whole meeting. Shame that on such a bitter cold night ( you could see the breath from the spectators and riders ) the crowd was down. After 8 heats the track was in reasonably good shape and the racing was excellent. Normally I prefer a night meeting under the lights, but, perhaps because of my nostalgia for years gone by, this should be on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The start marshall gets the award for best costume ever, anywhere! Start girls, well the yellow dark haired outside gate one can hop on my wagon anytime. :t: The pre-meeting knights on horseback circling the troops was wonderful .The Super 15 rugby when it is a Canterbury home match has "The Crusaders" going around the pitch before the match- just reminded me of this. Track tailor made for a gating tart (expert! ) like Ulamek. in the early heats but Nicki came good when it mattered. Good horse race at the very end! Thanks for this . Regards. Alan.

LOVE to all. :t::drink::lol: and let's enjoy today's meeting. Alan

Ok myself and R&R could cycle forever on this with particular spat with negations and assertions etc, so i'll not add to anything since my previous post and agree PLEASE let's try and keep this section where each thread is discussing or giving notifications concerning the great world of International speedway. As ever great thanks and credit to all in this section who take the time to collate and pass on information.

Peace Out :drink::party:
