screm
Emil and Daria. My favourite rider and my scrumdelicious babe in the same interview. Heaven. Crap stadium, poor crowd, understrength teams...... Oh that's tomorrow on Sky. Don't know why there is empty seats, this meeting sold out in three hours the other. day. brandonbee48
How can Torun get away with fielding such an understrength team ? Not only that, but two no-hopers at reserve as well. They'll be sending out someone like Gollob next- clearly over the hill!!
manchesterpaul
Crap stadium, poor crowd, understrength teams...... Oh that's tomorrow on Sky. lol Awwww lol......to be fair i think the Elite League may provide us with closer racing this year with the changes. Ward triggered that surely? His mate touched the tapes and suffered accordingly ouch. After those two comfortable wins how can Darcy get out of Poole duty now? Or does the fact that Holder has presumably signed a contract - and would have to be honoured - mean Ward isn't allowed to return under the points quota? If there are, my guess would be that some were snapped up by "chancers" hoping to make a quick zloty by reselling them, since they were priced at next to nothing as part of the punishment for last season's Final shenanigans. Guess Emil's fans haven't turned up It's reported 10,000 attendance. Przedpelski three races in a row...and diminishing returns scoring 3, 2. 1. He should use a rowing machine in bewteen races it keeps you really fit lol. Edited April 21, 2014 by manchesterpaul

brandonbee48
Being the real "old fart" of the board, I remember Wimbledon tracking a team with Barry Briggs, Ronnie Moore, Ron How, Cyril Maidment.... and all your team could do was "limit the damage" Reminds me of this Torun team. Sayfutdinov (when fit) as a second string.

brandonbee48
Emil- you lucky bugger sitting in the box with 'babe" Daria. These runaway victories are always a bit flat. Nice to see your team winning, but when its a bit of a slaughter it soon pales. I presume this Torun team was the owner's 2014 two-fingered salute for the sanctions (rightly) taken after last seasons Final debacle.? There's still enough to hold the interest, particularly in riders performances or non-performances, don't worry Troy no names lol. Holder amongst several before him showing it's not from the gate stuff. Darcy truly mastered the outside there and that's five wins out of five races.....is he fit or not? mikec
Great move from Holder there, when he regains full fitness/sharpness this Torun juggernaut will take some stopping. Awesome display from Darcy Ward tonight. Bit disappointed again by Troy Batchelor, he seems to have hit a glass ceiling progress-wise. Good to see Daria back on the League coverage on a regular basis too.
brandonbee48
Holder and Miedzinski- Torun's "vulnerable" pairing. Followed by the really weak pairing of Gollob and Ward.
manchesterpaul
Even in a walkover there is still lots of fine racing, Holder again in heat 14. Incidentally can't help but note how even the Polish tractors are superior to anything in the UK they look like they've been driven straight out of the showroom lol. I exiting straight after this final race it's been a good few hours of speedway. I'll slap the footie on whilst having a work-out then a feast lol. Stay safe all. Said they were vulnerable with Ward. Echo Paul. 7 hour marathon, but thoroughly enjoyed. Take care all. Alan.
uk_martin
Is there a "Miss Polish Brolly Dolly 2014" competition running anywhere? I'd nominate the 4 ladies from Torun as leading candidates right now. What do you mean "sexist tosh"? lol If you can lust after Daria, why not those lovely start line ladies? LagutaRacingFan
Torun are over-rated, They won't win the league.. Mark my words. Their whole side is built on mercenaries that are injury prone Z Gora will win as they have team spirit and Hampel is a miles better polish league rider than anyone in Torun's side. "Bless 'em all, bless 'em all, the long and the short and the tall". The trouble is that none of them would be interested in old geezers like us. pandorum
Caught up with the matches via YouTube and super quality video. Not that great trio of matches. Torun was rather dull affair. Czesto miss Laguta. Can't get the Lodz 1st Division match though Torun are over-rated, They won't win the league.. Mark my words. Their whole side is built on mercenaries that are injury prone Z Gora will win as they have team spirit and Hampel is a miles better polish league rider than anyone in Torun's side. You may have a point even for an idiot. Team spirit goes a long way but obviously Torun have the power if as you correctly point out they can avoid silly injuries. I think Tarnow look rather good myself
