Ipswich Vs Rye House Thursday 27th March 7.30pm

Forecast says 6c and dry. It'll feel a lot colder if there's any breeze.

Any hot food apart from burgers & chips available?

car said it was 5c coming back from Saturdays meeting but baltic in the stand and even saw a gritter out on way home!

As for food, there is a fish and chip shop on 2nd bend, never been to it though, sure someone will let you know what its like. However the chips are frozen french fries not real thing!

Thanks for the info. Think I may look for something in Ipswich on the way to the track. Driving down from Berwick, so I'll need something to sustain me during the meeting Edited by Shadders

If you take 1st exit after the Orwell bridge (Jt 57) into Ransomes, they have recently opened a Harvester, Toby Carvery, Frankie and Benny's and a Chiquitos?. Also there is a McDonalds, Subway, Burger King, Pizza Hut and 3 pubs nearby there.

How hungry do you think he'll be?!

There's also a cracking chippy in Kesgrave literally just around the corner called Kesgrave fisheries, superb fish and chips.

That sounds ideal

Not hungry or desperate enough to eat at McDonalds

Had to miss Mortens testimonials so looking forward to this as my first taste of speedway this year .

Does anyone know if Rye's riding order is going to be the same as their meeting at Peterborough as I would like to populate my scoresheet ? I always like to look at some of the matchups in advance .

I've noticed that both the official site for Ipswich and Rye House have listed the riders rather than putting them in rider order, wonder if this is their way of trying to make people buy programmes?

Probably , i must admit I find paying £2.50 for what is predominantly advertisements a tad irritating , and in the past paying full price for out of date rain off programmes and getting a score sheet with them !

My understanding is that the line up will be the same until Jason Bunyan returns to the side, then Steve Boxall will move to the number 2 race jacket

So the 2 lineups "should" be as follows:

Ipswich

1 Richie Worrall

2 Gino Manzares

3 Morten Risager

4 Cameron Heeps

5 Rohan Tungate

6 Adam Ellis

7 Ritchie Hawkins

Rye House

1. Edward Kennett
2. Jason Bunyan R/R
3. Matt Tresarrieu
4. Jason Garrity
5. Steve Boxall
6. Luke Bowen
7. Simon Lambert
Just looked at the weather, looking a bit wet about 8.15!
