number6 Posted March 19, 2014 Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 I have changed clutch basket and face plate on my bike also i have put in ally plates instead of steel but i cannot seem to adjust it up. When i pull in leaver the face plate does not release i have tried removing couple of plates and adjusted cable both ends and adjusted the arm. Is there something i am missing? Topcat Posted March 19, 2014 Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 Maybe you need longer push rods or a second ball bearing. Change back to your original set up and see if that still works then measure the set of plates against your new alloy ones. Did you also change the fibre plates,they may also be thinner.
