Grachan
OK, it's probably a bit early doors to start this but does anyone have any idea about what time these meetings start. As they are the same two sides riding home and away fixtures on the same day I'm guessing they are not both at 7.30pm. It would be nice to know. By the way, the cheating Pirates are a cheating bunch and Swindon will win blah blah blah.
SteveLyric2
When the fixtures were first announced I assumed the Poole meeting would be 12 noon, but was told 11.00am!! Haven't seen it confirmed anywhere else yet though.
Grachan
That's a start anyway! At least we know which one is in the evening now.
Reliant Robin
Swindon website says "All home matches start at 7.45pm, parade 7.30pm (subject to weather conditions), unless otherwise stated" - so had assumed this to be correct for the home leg with Poole meeting earlier in the day
Poole Quay 7
Fri 18-Apr H Poole Swindon League (A) Fri 18-Apr A Swindon Poole League (A) http://www.poolepirates.co/fixandres14 I guess it must be 11 or 12 (TBC?) at Poole with the return at 7.30PM? Looking forward to the meetings already! Edited March 17, 2014 by Poole Quay
Steve Shovlar
It's normal for an 11am start at Le Stade de la Mer. Should be over by 1.30 then something to eat before moseying the 70 miles up to chilly Blunsdon to add more points in the Pirate coffers in the defence of our title. ABS
The usual La Merde being spoken on this thread at least..... Yep, Steve is pretty good at spouting it, especially on Coventry threads.

A ORLOV
Note to Starman, do not forget to give it a special polish so it looks good at Swindon throughout 2014.

SteveLyric2
Goodness knows what the teams are going to be on Good Friday??? Have you seen all the other fixtures scheduled for that day?!
Steve Shovlar
Well Josh is our asset so he should be riding, not sure on Newman but isn't he a Poole asset as well? As Plymouth are riding we will be without Smart. Somerset are at home to Plymouth so will Morris ride for Swindon or Somerset? I guess Swindon as he has only just signed for Somerset. Not sure on the Swindon reserves.
Bagpuss
The fixture list looks like a dog's breakfast so far, although I appreciate with so many riders doubling up and down it must have been a nightmare to compile.

mudflaps
Is this a typo - do you mean Le stade de la merde? You cannot Polish a Merde and there is only so many times that you can roll it in glitter!! Edited March 31, 2014 by Flyin Panther
