Kings Lynn V Zielona Gora 19/03/14

Why is it a clanger by Sky? They have never stated that they were showing this meeting. Clanger on the Polish side of the water from where I'm sitting.

No clangers dropped. Its was Polish advertisment that the meeting was being covered.

It was never in the SKY planning.

Don`t let facts get in the way as per usual.

Just to confirm that this meeting has never been planned to be on Sky sports tonight, Like most other UK sports broadcasters this meeting was offered to them by Polsat but nobody took up the option which is very disapointing especially as I hear they were offering the UK rights for hardly anything. I presume Polsat then decided that they did not want to bare the full production costs which would be around 15-18k at least.

Ten down at the interval but decent racing so far. The Poles just too sharp out of the gate and ridiculously fast when in front.

To think some of them had only seen the track for the first yesterday they are bloody quick.

The gulf between Polish and British speedway is very evident

The gulf between Polish Speedway and KIngs Lynn is very evident. If Poole had taken them on I am sure we would have put up a better fight. Ward, Janowski and Shamek could certainly hold their own. Only Bjerre doing what he should so far tonight.

:D

If the Poles gated like this at Poole the result would be no different, and their bottom four would have yours for breakfast.

Anyway, lots of bike testing by the GP boys tonight with only really Bjerre looking fast. The young lad at reserve for ZG who shouldn't even have been riding is the standout performer, unbelievably good. Encouraging signs from our three youngsters even though they have been largely outclassed.
