450 euros per point in first 20 heats, 650 euros per point in final, 450 euros travelling costs and 100 euros per point from NICE this year. So it would be possible for 10950 euros if won a meeting with a maximum score

They money is very similar per meeting when the $12000 BSI payment added to the prize money from FIM as effectively all the prize money would have $1000 added.

It would be possible for someone to earn on 450 euros in SEC final whereas minimum would be $4400 in SGP for a permanent rider (inc 1/12th of the BSI money)

Could anyone list the prize money offered by One Sport, also the amount they paid to secure the rights?

The prize money is near as dam identical, although it is broken down as points money rather than finishing position.

I believe it is 450 euros per point and 650 per point in the final. Nice pay a small addition to that

I assume though that one sport pay this and pay a much (much) smaller fee to the FIM

THIS year's prize money, per round, in USD $ is:

1 12,000.00

2 8,800.00

3 7,200.00

4 6,200.00

5 5,200.00

6 5,200.00

7 4,600.00

8 4,600.00

9 3,850.00

10 3,700.00

11 3,650.00

12 3,600.00

13 3,550.00

14 3 ,500.00

15 3,450.00

16 3,400.00

17 1,000.00

18 1,000.00

Are we sure we understand what is meant by "Prize Money"? is this the list of cash up for the winner, those on the podium or something else? I appreciate the 12000 is an initial payment that each rider recieves but I find it hard to believe that the final 1000 is all that is paid.

What is paid to riders in terms of start and point money?

There is no start and point money in the SGP, it is as shown above. $1000 dollars is only for the track reserves really though. The worst a regular competitor should get is $3400.00

Thats it in SGP. It's all public info from the rulebook, it includes travel and accommondation unless of course bsi has stepped in and made a good deal with the promoter. Like eith Buckley.

1000 dollars for the reserves to do practise, most of them are happy... Have to be!

Thanks for the clarification. so if I understand matters correctly the list is best descibed as appearance money that each rider recieves for each round rather than prize money. The total being around 80k if the rider avoids injury etc.

The track reserves will generally be local, so that's pretty easy money. However, $3,400 (currently £2,000) to pay for travel, accommodation and equipment for your team - not exactly going to be much left unless you do it Andy Smith style.

Are you having trouble reading.

The list is prize money for each GP. First place getting $12,000 dollars down to $3400.00 for last place. It isn't appearance money in the slightest

So, we're hearing lots from pro one-sport lobbyists attacking BSI over prize money etc... yet One Sport is no different, but they pay a hell of a lot less?

No trouble reading, just understanding whats being said - maybe due to jet lag!

OK so this means an average pay of 5k per meeting (the total excluding reserves divided by 16) but truth is that the top riders are rarely out of the top 6 so their average pay is more liekly to be around 7k and a regulat top 3 finisher is up at around 9k per meeting...well thats not too bad for a couple of days work is it...engines,bikes travel in most cases sponsored. Not saying its the best, just that its not too bad.

But it is a nothing title as a number here have stated. So the same money for a nothing title is good for the riders surely. And why would the FIM ask or expect the same for a nothing title as for the world title?Seems strange to even bring up the subject

The only people bringing up the subject are One Sport.

In the same way that most things are only brought up by One Sport.

Its just non stop propaganda day after day after day.

Admission fees to these One Sport events, I assume as its a 'nothing title' as you say they are much lower than a GP?

You asked the question, not One Sport.I guess they know what they are paying. You asked!!!

Anyone that has followed the various discussions on this forum would have noticed that the imbalance in fees paid is a subject often bought up by Phil Rising, who is quite close to BSI

It's a subject that OneSport through their media mouthpiece are once again bleating about.

More of their propaganda.
