Ward Can He Win The Title This Year.?

Recommended Posts

Certainly in with a shout definitely needs to up his gating but I'd much rather he kept missing the gate and earned his points in the way that puts bums on seats.

Quite right i will pay 17 quid each week to see him ride now he needs to really have a strong couple of years. He should not panic in my eyes he is more talented and a better rider than Tai now get to it and prove it i think he will to NKI the danger.?

What are people's opinions ? can Ward win the title this year? or is it a learning year for him.I think he can win it i have backed him also i have backed Iversen my two against the field also i believe Holder could be in the mix at a big price.

Everything being equal. But i won't be taking 7/2 at this time of year.. a full 8 months away from Torun. You'l get bigger for him to win a round or 3..

Favourite for me this year, but like others have said, not attractive at those odds.

Was tge best rider in auckland last year, despite a poor draw with two heats off gate 4, so will be interesting to see how he goes this year and may put a small bet on him winning that.

Darcys gating is an issue for me, against the top boys its a lot harder to overtake even for him. Needs a season injury free too which he rarely gets.

Darcy knows his Gating is an issue. And im sure he will be working hard to improve that..

I saw a barely fit Chris Holder, battle his way through the Australian Championship. He showed skill, guts and determination. He looked every inch a World Champion. Anyone who beats him, will know they have been in a tremendous Speedway contest. Emil, Tai and Wardy are all very, very good and can win. Chris Holder is just better.

Imo Riding in the Australian Championship over 3 rounds is a bit different to riding in a 12 round GP Series. I think as others have said, If Darcy stays fit, he could go on and win it for a few years to come.

He beat Jason Doyle. Hardly going to strike fear into World Title contenders. He made hard work of that too.

Obviously only a mug would discount Holders chances.
