A ORLOV
It does seem strange that there seems to be no mention of this meeting on the club website.
michaelcroucher
Â I'd say the opposite if it is the case that British Promoters have changed the date. Why? well there are 4 fixtures that are in the calender: Eastbourne - Joonas Kylmakorpi Testimonial Plymouth - British U21 Semi Final . Workington v Newcastle Ian Thomas Shield Ipswich - Morten Risager Testimonial . Surely these should take precedent over a fixture that has been "requested" by a Polish club? May have been different if Sky had actually been involved in the original tournament but that doesn't seem the case. Â Â The Poles have been planning this for over a year now so they should of seen that this has been planned for a while and worked around it. It just goes to show what they are like becuase Havvys do was going to be cancelled becuase of them not thinking and planning speedway at the same time. People would of come from miles around to see this event as well as myself but now Kings Lynn will lose money on this as i wont be able to go as well as others. If you look at the 4 meetings at what they have now planned and the match with the Polish team coming over what is the best match, its not to work out Kings Lynn wins hans down. The Poles were planning to go to Peterborough so this has not been in the plan for over a year. Â Kings Lynn only became an option in the last few weeks long after all the other fixtures were planned. Do you think NKI and Bjerre would've agreed to ride in the Risager testimonial had they been aware of a fixture for Kings Lynn? Â However don't be too critical yet until all is confirmed. As has been pointed out there has been conflicting info re dates ie Saturday 19th which doesn't exist. Â You may yet get your chance to attend on Saturday 22nd. michaelcroucher
Originally they had planned Rye House when the u21 team came across for the World Cup. For some reason I don’t really know why but they choose to go to Peterborough. I know that Kings Lynn came up at kind of the last min but I know this is something that the Polish wanted to happen in this country so I think it was going to go ahead but they had to find another track. With this in mind riders should of know it was planned and I know NKI and Bjerre wouldn’t of agreed to ride at Risager testimonial if they knew they was riding in this match and they might not of been invited, but one thing people have to think about is that this a Polish Club that have organized this not British. They are using their riders and had planned to get some other international to rider at this event so maybe NKI and Bjerre was not invited in the original plans. I hope you can see what im kind of getting at. You could be right that it might happen on the sat but in Poland the websites are saying Wed now not Sat. As this competition is something the Polish seems to want to have every year it hasn’t got off to a good start.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
So Poland says jump and we should say how high? Â Not in my book we shouldnt! Â Its billed as pre season due to the Pokish slant but its actually 2 weeks into the British season so always bound to be other meetings going on. Â These are planned in over the winter so the Poles cant expect to just snap their fingers and take their pick.
SteveLyric2
How many more Polish Promotions Companies are going to come out of the woodwork and try to takeover the (speedway) world??!!
The Pedaler
One minute it's complaints that British Speedway Promoters can't promote for a toffee...the next is a complaint that someone else wants to give promotion a bash! Â Just like all the complaints about "Poles coming over here and taking our jobs" - what it really is, is that those jobs that the British can't or won't do, the Poles are prepared to try their hand at. And just watch, they'll probably be very good at it too!

Bunce
Could somebody please explain the layout of the Polsat website, in case I need to watch the match live. I'm hoping to go, but may have to pull out at the last minute due to lack of transport. My Polish language skills are nil, and I was wondering how I find the link to the match on the site? Lots of columns to negotiate there, all in Polish! Clicked on the Program TV tab, selected March 19th, but scrolling down there is no mention of Kings Lynn or Speedway? Am I missing something, as other posters seem to indicate there will be a live stream to the match. Â Thanks in anticipation. Speedway in Polish is Zuzel  When link was originally posted it was listed but it doesn't seemed to be listed now on the pages for tomorrow or the repeat on Thursday
flagrag
I am not 100% sure the tv broadcast by Polsat is still going ahead as they announced it and I know have desperately been trying to find a UK broadcaster to take the feed as well to help share the production costs. The last I had heard was Sky,Eurosport,BT and Motors tv had all said no as just one off meeting. I have a feeling it may just end up being a 2-3 camera edited highlights programme later in the week on Polsat

Bunce
Thanks to those who confirmed my suspicion that the match had vanished from the Polsat schedule. I thought I was doing something wrong! I'll remember that "Zuzel" is Speedway for future reference. Â The good news is, that I can now go to the meeting, as my Missus has got a lift tonight, and my car will be free. Should be a good match, with the weather forecast being dry mild and breezy for tonight.
