How on earth do you blow an engine warming it up?! Surely there must have been something wrong with it in the first place or not assembled correctly.

i didn't think it was unusual, i thought you heard of engines going bang while the bikes were up on their stands all the time ?

Hi, what is the best way to get to Brandon by train? Either Coventry mainline station or Rugby?

Thanks.

Coventry. Then a taxi for about £20.

Or the number 86 bus goes between Coventry and Rugby past the stadium but it depends on timings as to which is best.

86 from Cov city centre Hales st stand DD leaves at 13.03 and should get you to Brandon around 13.30. Last bus back to Cov is at 16.45 but if possible to make your journey back from Rugby you can get the 86 to Rugby from Brandon at around 17.15

Really? That is a bit of a worry with the cost of engines/equipment these days!

I remember Craig Watson telling us years ago that Rickardsson would regulary blow engines on the stand warming them up before a meeting. Then casually wheel a third bike out of his van ! This was when both were at Poole, id say 2001/2ish

I have heard that there is a circus on the car park at Brandon up to and including 20th March. Can anyone confirm this is the case and will it impact on the ability to get parked on Sunday?

Perhaps someone's getting confused and its Horton rearranging his offices and management team? ;)

Apparently part of the car park is taken up with a circus and there will be a show start during Bombers meeting. BUT it shouldn't effect the speedway too much as Bombers meeting starts before the circus so we shoud all be in and parked up and watching the first heat before anyone turns up for the circus. As the Brandon car park is huge I doubt the circus being there will stop all the speedway fans getting in.

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message including your mobile number.

Thanks
