lucifer sam
. Ooops! Is that a rant? Nope it's only a rant when you moan about house prices for the 1586th time All the best Rob
Woz01
Could do with a change in the forecast for Sunday. Plenty of time for that to happen.

markyb
Having seen the line-up and the weather forecast have decided either to buy some paint and watch it dry or maybe wash my hair. To think that a testimonial committee spent time in putting together this event - they should be ashamed of themselves ! Does Bomber have so little friends in the speedway world that he has to rely on second rate Premier league riders to make up the 16 riders. So sad. Now, had this been the line-up for the Ryan Fisher testimonial, for which I believed was due to him, then a different story. G the Bee
Ok it's not the strongest line up. But, as Chris said on Friday, if they (the GP stars) don't want to come, they don't want to come. I'm not sure what else he could have done. Let's face it, he's not been the first meeting organiser to struggle to attract the'big' names this year. Paul Ackroyd will testify to that! I think the field looks pretty balanced And am looking forward to the meeting. I think some need to cut Bomber and his committee some slack. At the end of the day, nobody is forcing anyone to attend.
Woz01
Raining from 8am to 8pm according to Met office. Trust Bomber to organise a meeting on the wettest day of the year. What a shame for him and his family.
mdmc82
Hoping it improves but not looking good so far. Some weather channels have rain on and off until 11am and then none till later. If that is the case, it will also depend on how much the track can take. 🙏 Edited March 29, 2015 by mdmc82
Bagpuss
I'm sure it's the strongest line up he could possibly get for the date but like British Speedway in general the pricing is so wrong, far far too expensive.
mdmc82
Rain has stopped and sun is shining. Fingers crossed it stays that way ⛅️ Most people now pay £18 to watch EL meetings with same sort of line up but half the amount of races. I think £20 for 33 races plus chance to give thanks to Bomber is a fair price.
Star Lady
Rain has stopped and sun is shining. I think £20 for 33 races plus chance to give thanks to Bomber is a fair price. I'd agree that £20 for 33 races is good value compared to normal admission prices. The problem is probably finding the £20 and much more if it's a family and the weather is iffy. It's psychological but £20 sounds so much more than £19.50. I hope Bomber gets a good crowd and has a fantastic day cos as others have said he is one of the most loyal riders for both his own clubs and any club he guests for.

fliss44
In Rugby the rain has just stopped but I have to say going by the forecast it looks like it may return but fingers x
Woz01
About the pricing I think it's fair for the amount of entertainment on the day. What is a rip off is the £26 I paid to watch league one football at Peterborough yesterday, £20 for this meeting is a bargain in comparison.
