stevebrum
Wasn't there a year when they invited other riders to come over and called it elite riders championship instead of elite league riders. Considering with advance booking you can see the swc for 15 quid and Cardiff for 29 quid and that includes a allocated sat! Didn't they do that last year and this? Who really wants to come over on a Thursday in the middle of a busy season?? Poor planning anyway. As usual!
Brummie Kev
1 Bjarne Pedersen (Eastbourne) 2 Davey Watt (Lakeside) 3 Matej Zagar (Belle Vue) 4 Maciej Janowski (Poole) 5 Chris Harris (Coventry) 6 Vaclav Milik (Poole) 7 Richard Lawson (Lakeside) 8 Hans Andersen (Coventry) 9 Peter Kildemand (Swindon) 10 Dakota North (Swindon) 11 Rory Schlein (King’s Lynn) 12 Jacob Thorssell (Wolverhampton) 13 Jason Doyle (Leicester) 14 Danny King (Lakeside) 15 Troy Batchelor (Swindon) 16 Robert Lambert (King’s Lynn). Danny King is representing Birmingham. Also why is Nicholls allowed to miss this, this has been in the calender for months yet he opts to ride in Poland at the last minute. BSPA shouldnt allow it
Penny Cross
Can anybody else remember the sixties/seventies/eighties version the BLRC when it was THE meeting held at the zoo, often graced with a outstanding line up with the likes of Briggs, mauger, Olsen, michanek, Collins p, Nielsen, gundersen etc in front of sold out ticket only crowds Ok it hasn't been essential for a good few years but it seems to me this line up reflects the state of the top league in Britain It was often said to be more difficult to win than a World Final. Nowadays its only marginally better than the PLRC. Even that's stretching it.
tocha
I bet Robert Lambert didn't think he would progress this far in his first EL season and I wish him all the best but, my money is on Jason Doyle to pick up the trophy now. kelvinht
Still a half decent line-up with all/most of the riders able to win. May not be up there with the 'good' old days, but we'll hopefully see some decent racing. Couldn't really pick a winner. Still say £25 is a bit steep, but with then end of the season near it's a must go meeting, as long as we don't have more drop outs before tomorrow night. Phil The Ace
Will this be on bet365 with it being a elite league meeting kind off
crazysue
Never thought I would struggle for a texter for the ELRC but there you go...is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message including your mobile number. Thanks
uk_martin
Can I just ask, is this ELRC a second attempt at getting the farcical ERC sorted out? OR are they TWO different competitions? When was the ELRC inserted into the seasons fixture list? I must say, at the start of the season I was under the impression that the farcical ERC was a replacement for the ELRC. If others thought so too, including riders, then who can blame them for booking themselves up for this time of the year, and if they were subject to previous arrangements / contracts, then what right did the BSPA have to include their names in the original line-up only to later make it look like the riders were crying off when in truth they were never available in the first place due to previous arrangements? crazysue
It seems this meeting is not being shown as was previously mentioned, so speedway updates it is with poss radio coverage. Only if we can get a texter!
SPEEDY69
Still seems a good line-up to me for the Norfolk Arena, Lambert should generate local interest. It's unfortunate to have withdrawals but aren't they all for legitimate reasons?
Gavan
With all the withdrawals it makes it a more level playing field i guess. The best 2 riders are probably Batchelor and Doyle but Kildemand or Janowski must go close.
James Taplin
Is there any links for this meeting?? Is this on bet365 fellas?

Depends what mood Zagar is in - I'll be honest I'm totally amazed he's not caught a cold yet. But Matej, Hans and Bomber could all win it too - in addition to the 4 you mention. crazysue
Unfortunately not...just not going and that is all 3 Kings Lynn texters! I'm getting desperate now, despite several requests here and on Facebook, unfortunately no offers of a texter and of course, I am off out myself tonight to speedway so will not be able to do my usual chasing until there really is no hope.
