We let in unlimited numbers of low skilled Eastern Europeans who are a drain on services and in order to make a small dent on the immigration figures stop Australian speedway riders (who don't use maternity / schools etc and have BRITISH road fund licenses on the vans they drive up and down the motorway.) We all should be voting Ukip on May 22nd! So they don't use out maternity/schools? Really? So they don't bring their kids over? Partners don't give birth? Surely speedway riders in general are quite a drain on out health service? But you're right, they can't bring their vans from Australia, that makes all the difference. if you want Romanians banned you can't complain when PL reserve standard Aussies are banned too! They are poisonous because they are factually incorrect (they are a net contributor) and pandering to those who stereotype. Hitler did that, he blamed the Jews and decent people said nothing. rmc is correct to point out the nature of that post and I'm very happy to see there are people on this forum who are intolerant of intolerance. I am not a supporter but if you want factual correctness comparing UKIP to Hitler is no different to calling all Labour followers Communists. Surely the height of intolerance is to dismiss the opinion of anybody who disagrees with you as poisonous. They hsve said they will stop ALL immigration for 5 years. So I guess that would include Australian speedway riders and Polish track men. I believe the statistic is that there is a net benefit to immigration, therefore that will include those billionaire Russians who live in Mayfair as well as fruit pickers in Norfolk for example. I have no idea of the net benefit of a fruit picker and his family moving here but would suggest the net benefit of immigration is likely to be very much higher if immigrants were selected according to the needs of the country. Unless you have to hand the net worth of unskilled/ low skilled workers alone you are as guilty of making unsubstantiated sweeping statements as the poster you object to. The idea that somebody wanting a different immigration policy can be compared to Hitler wanting to establish Aryan supremacy is a truly poisonous attempt at stifling free speech. I have read the facts, you have said "I believe" i.e. your opinion; there is a huge net benefit of a fruit picker and his family moving here. This is because as a nation our indigenous population will not work in these hard manual jobs. If you check your facts you will find their has been a major issue with fruit and vegetables left rotting in the fields because farmers cannot get the English/British to do the job and the government restrictions had meant that those who would, could not get work permits. All reports indicate that the focus on letting "highly qualified" individuals in to work is actually the wrong policy and by barring the less skilled worker the government are hampering economic growth. I have not said anything about the Aryan supremacy; you have. What I will say is that once you start scapegoating a particular group of people then it is fair to call the comments "poisonous". Hitler started off by scapegoating the Jews; nobody stopped him. Don't expect petty political points to be posted, with no facts to back them up apart from prejudiced opinion, without somebody questioning them. By the way you are entitled to have your free speech as I am entitled to tell you that you need to get your facts in order before commenting. However, my father and his two brothers were all regulars in WW2, Irish Guards, Black Watch and East Surrey Regiment. My uncles were killed in action, in Holland and in Italy. My father, who had lied about his age and forged his father's signature was discovered and slung out of Normanton Barracks for being a year too young to be serving in the army. The following year he was back in uniform. Comparing me, or my views, to Hitler, a monster who killed millions, my uncles included, is vile, reprehensible, insulting and utterly unacceptable to me. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I have no political beliefs or allegiances of any description, viewing all politicians as completely untrustworthy and that obviously includes Farage. I do believe however that empoying a million Eastern Europeans in Britain, whilst almost a million young Britons have no employment is economic insanity and a betrayal of those unemployed youngsters. Taking a small part the overall picture ie: food left rotting in fields is nonsense. The argument about that involves the monopolies of supermarkets, the benefits system, EU subsidies and is not solely an example that fits your case. I can do that too, you are saying that seasonal workers moving to this country as unskilled labour and living the rest of the year courtesy of the benefits system is an economical benefit to the UK. It's not that simple but you appear to completely fail to see that any of these arguments are not as cut and dried as you would like so select the bits you want. It is outrageous to compare anything posted on here to the rantings of Hitler. The scapegoating of Jews was his initial step toward Aryan supremacy and I can't believe that you think anybody is here has suggested anything even resembling that. Utter rubbish, it is an important political topic. The ONLY poison on this thread has been your continued comparisons with Hitler. Shambolic, Black Sunday was about right. I applauded his direct unbiased opinion. What a pity he is not a Promoter. The BSPA could do with some people like him, who tells it like it is.
