screm
British Speedway @SpeedwayGB 1m We will be launching a full investigation to establish how this situation was allowed to happen. #ERC
The Pedaler
To top it off Middlo is on twitter saying right decision as rider safety comes first! Yeh course it does you clown but you were more than happy to race 10 heats on a totally unrideable track at Belle Vue not giving a monkeys about safety until the league points were in the bag! Man is a clown! Far be it for me to defend DiddleMitch, but wasn't he "re-tweeting" something that Boring Pedersen had said in the first place? Pirate Nick
not saying that we know the cov track isn't rideable and has quite rightly been called off. It just grates that Middlo goes on twitter talking bout safety when quite clearly he was happy to race on a soaked track that was dangerous. Sorry but the man is two faced Now I'm normally quite amused by your posts Gavan, but there's more at stake here than your pathetic attempts at denigrating Middlo and Ford at every opportunity. If you bothered to read what's been going on you would see that it's not just the ERC that's been postponed it's possibly the future of The Bees that could be in danger here. So now is not the time or the place.

Retweeting is essentially staying your agreement, the equivalent of a 'like' on here or Facebook. The Pedersen tweet had the words 'Well done BSPA'. There is absolutely NO credit to be given to the BSPA over this shambles. Why start being concerned now?

John Leslie
Imagine this scenario at the F.A. Headquarters:- FA Vice chairman: We've held an auction of the rights to hold the FA Cup final and I've come to tell you about the bid from the winning stadium. Chairman: Is it a stadium with a long history? Vice chairman: Oh yes, they've operated continually since 1948 Chairman: Oh good....We need a stadium with a stable ownership Vice: Erm.....well, the ownership has just changed, and they have a mystery new owner. Chairman: Oh well, at least the outgoing owner was stable and trustworthy Vice: Well, yes...except, HMRC reckon one of the old co-owners was a convicted money launderer...and it may be that HMRC forced the sale of the stadium Chairman: Well it's good that the stadium has new owners Vice: Well there is a rumour that the new owner is the same as the old owner, just with a new company to get round the HMRC problem Chairman: I see Vice: But don't worry about the stadium owner. We'll be working with the guy who leases the club and runs the football team. Chairman: That's good to hear. And he'll employ a good groundsman to make sure the pitch is in tip-top condition for the final. Vice: Well I'm sure someone will Chairman: We don't know who's employing the groundsman? Can we get in touch with the groundsman and ask him who employs him? Vice: Well we could, but he only speaks Polish Chairman: Do you think we should send someone down for the weekend to oversee planning of the FA Cup final? Vice: Oh there's no need for that.....what could possibly go wrong?

The Pedaler
Sad but true in this shocking conclusion to an absolute fiasco from the point where it was pulled from the end of season, clashed then didn't clash with Havvy's meeting, I wonder if this attempt by the BSPA to hijack Havvy's big night was't at the back of the riders minds when deciding just how dangerous the track was? Wouldn't surprise me if getting one over on the organisation that was so contemptuous of one or the "Riders Union" could have made the track "a little more dangerous than it otherwise might have been" in the eyes of the other "Riders Union" members...just supposin' like. BWitcher
I'm concerned about the potential loss of one of our biggest clubs. As would most speedway fans. Your promoter and the BSPA as a whole simply weren't and likely aren't. They're all out for themselves and just when you think it simply isn't possible for them to drag the sport lower... they manage to do it.

mdmc82
i can see bees switching to Pboro in 3 years time so why wait Because we are Coventry bees not Peterborough bees. Not everybody can travel that far without transport. Coventry would lose even more fans. Look the effect moving has had on Cov football fans. We need to get the track sorted and fast
semion
Should be held at tracks who have total control over their own stadiums, like Kings Lynn or Scunthorpe. Is it any coincidence that the World Team is held at the same UK track every year ?

I'm sure we'll get some answers soon then - just liek we always do with the BSPA sweep things under the carpet investigate.

And I don't see where Middlo mentions anything about Coventry speedway. What happened in Belle Vue is still fresh to a lot if people who believe in fair play and unfortunately the Poole team manager had shown himself up to be a hypocrite

We need to get the track sorted and fast I agree with all you say BUT there is several things connecting both clubs and that is Mick Horton and his merry band , why operate two stadiums when you can do it out of one ? And if Sandu or whoever owns Brandon want speedway out there is a very easy way to do it as had happened over your last two meetings . Can see it happening in 3 years time anyway
