Woz01
What have the staff employed by the stadium been doing? Apart from a shower yesterday its been completely dry! No good enough Coventry Stadium!
Mark
So absolutely no excuse for anything other than a perfect racing surface. maybe not !
TrueBee
If it has been called off then I have no confidence in attending a meeting all year at Brandon. Glad I decided against renewing my season ticket! Clubs should start getting fines for terrible track preparation when there's no excuse. Feel sorry for anyone who has made a long distance trip. Epic fail Coventry....
hagonshocker
What a pathetic shambles of a sport this truly is ...the first televised meeting of the season becomes yet another frigging embarrasment no wonder i cant be a***d to drag myself up to the Abbey on thursday ...all these testimonials seem to be able to beat the weather especially Havvy's farewell but yet again a BSPA arranged meeting falls foul to pure ineptitude what a ridiculous joke...yeah lets screw the punters take there money then s**t on them...oh hang on wont matter we will just hold it at Swindon again and allow the BSPA (sick of typing that) let us take the flak because it rained and they insisted we ruin our track on there behalf...oh and another free programme offer...cretins
screm
Looking at Twitter there is quite a number of very un-happy speedway riders in the Brandon pits. Wonder if Sky are looking to see if the inks dry on the newly signed contract.

LagutaRacingFan
Shocking scenes, Just arrived at Brandon and the track is fine. Zagar is leading the protest, He sickens me. Mick Horton is not to blame... The track is fine! Mod Note: And yet you still post from your home IP? Remarkable. Kindly stop trolling, the situation is bad enough on its own merit
mike1944
They wonder why attendances are dropping. I wonder how many people have arrived already at this stadium after spending money travelling there to get turned away. OK if the track was a mess a couple of days ago it should have been ample time to relay the track.
GREDON
Who is responsible for the track preparation? Do not think it is right from Winter refurbishment. For once do not think we can blame Mick Horton. Mr Sandhu was previously responsible, but he has gone has he not, the new owner is only wanting to build houses. The previous track curator has left and the new one does not speak English. Coventry will finish season at Peterborough is my guess, Mick will not put up with this fiasco

Zagar`s protesting because he`s just seen you entering Brandon and he`s worried you will start stalking him.
mike1944
Perhaps when the programme starts in a few minutes on Sky we can all see exactly what the condition of the track is.
screm
Perhaps when the programme starts in a few minutes on Sky we can all see exactly what the condition of the track is. Nigel and/or Kelvin are going to have their work cut out trying to explain this one.

screm
Nicolai Klindt @nklindt 1m track guy at coventry must of still been drunk from last night since its possible to make a "unrideable" track when the sun is out #typical
Star Lady
Only good thing is the riders standing up to Mr Russell. Now let's have consistency from them at league matches. Having said that why leave it so late and what the hell have the staff at Coventry been doing for the last 48 hours
