Elite Riders Championship - 25/09/2014

Really would be funny if Lindgren wins it, which I think he might! He flew around the Selco Classic at Brum on Wednesday!

The only rider who is not Elite League in the Rebranded Elite League Event goes out and takes victory!

Im not going, watching it on SKY I was tempted but after Friday night I have lossed enough money to Coventry Speedway to warrent me giving them more!

If Darcys up for it he should win it. Depends what the track is like though. By all accounts it's in a right state. With heavy rain showers due throughout the day will the track staff be able to make it decent enough to have some racing?

You would think he would do better if track is really bad as hes used to riding on a ploughing field every week with Poole. You could plant vegetables on that mess of a track

That's funny most non Poole always say there's no dirt on the blue groove Poole track, yet you are saying there's now too much! Make your minds up!

A bit arrogant to suggest that Darcy just has to be up for it to win when he will have the world numbers 1 & 3 to beat as well as several other quality riders. Any one of half a dozen could win this on a good day.

No doubt if Ward doesn't win it'll be the surface's fault, bike probs, the wrong leaves on the track etc etc zzzzzzzzzzz :D

So absolutely no excuse for anything other than a perfect racing surface.

Regardless of track surface, if Ward is as World Class as he believes he is then the conditions given to him are irrelevant. All 16 will have to overcome the same problems.

It should be a decent surface for tonight, no rain as far as I'm aware and when I checked earlier it was due to be a dry evening. I'm sure Mr Russell will have a hand in track prep this evening, he usually does for sky meetings doesn't he?

Presumably, with the recent weather conditions, the track covers will have been used?
