SteveEvans
Wasnt Jason Doyle down to ride at Peterborough last year for his PL club side Somerset, the day after riding for Austrailia in Event 1 of the SWC at Czestochowa.Rain in Poland prevented him from taking his place at Peterborough, but I see no reason why any rider at Kings Lynn saturday cant be at EOES on sunday. The FIM rulebook states otherwise.
screm
The FIM rulebook states otherwise. Giving the goings on at the FIM at the minute between them and OneSport should we take any heed of the rulebook.
yoda
Peterborough is in my option the best suited track for the 4tt... It's central for most expect northern tracks , however if you make the most of it , it turns into a very enjoyable day. Last year was very unfortunate that the 2 nasty incidents held up procedures , yet I'm sure the BSPA will have learnt from this and hopefully have a second ambulance in attendance. With there being so many riders in this not sure what other track could house so many bikes in the pits.

Last year was my 1st trip to the EOES, I went to the SWC the day after and thoroughly enjoyed my trip, sadly it looks like both meetings will be one-off meetings which IMO makes it a bit of a turn-off for any fans having to travel large distances.

With there being so many riders in this not sure what other track could house so many bikes in the pits. They had two ambulances last year. The problem was they only had one Doctor and the track ambulances were not allowed to take the injured riders to hospital like happens at most tracks. Instead they had to wait for a county ambulance to arrive which was delayed by attending a car accident. The track doctor had to stay with the riders until the ambulance arrived. Had there been two doctors then I understand racing could have continued. Also other delays such as the starting gate failures were pathetic. The starting gate staff only erected the starting gate 15 mins before the start and then kept hitting it with a mallet when it stopped working. Eventually they brought out a new gate set which caused an avoidable delay. Many northern fans had to leave well before the end because of their transport commitment. No apology or attempt to compensate fans affected and Mr Hogarth arrogantly said what a great event it was. Well Mr Hogarth I don't know anyone that will be returning this year after that shambles
westhamboy66
Sadly the "waiting for a County Ambulance" has become the norm rather than exception
The Doctor...
Apologies, just seeing the Peterborough 4s topic instantly gave my memories of: Roman Matousek fighting with a supporter on the back straight Derrol Keats falling about 20 times Reading winning... Apologies for going off-track...much like Bobby Ott did in the 4s final of 91 i think ??? Sorry again. Cheers Tom
yoda
Sadly the "waiting for a County Ambulance" has become the norm rather than exception I don't think anyone wants to wait for an ambulance or wants it to be the norm !!! These things are unfortunate , when a delay happens like this no one can't predict how long it will take, but riders safety is paramount ?? Can't understand when people ask for a discount cause of this.. Think if the BSPA offered free travel to the match free admission And a £5 meal voucher people would still complain .....
yoda
For major events (at least) it should be the norm for suitable medical cover to be available to enable the event to continue. Such incidents do occur - so provision should be made. Thankfully a second serious incident is much rarer, and more understandable if it then leads to delays. well maybe the BSPA have took this onboard and this season, will provide extra medical cover ?? lol
RPNY
When do we know what teams will be at the fours this year?
Lioness
We'll probably find some time in July, I think its usually about 2 weeks before so that it is as up to date as possible. one thing is for sure there is always at least one surprise and at least one disappointed club! BBSC
think qualifiers are eight teams with the highest averages of there top 5 riders could be one or two suprises nearer cut off date.
screm
The 4s is a fantastic day out but IMO we need qualifiers for all PL clubs.

Noodles
There was talk earlier in the year that Dryml wont be available for this.. I'm sure I read somewhere that Ales's Polish fixtures would take priority as he had already agreed them before signing for Panthers late. However he has been available for all Panthers Sunday fixtures so far. Edited June 6, 2014 by Noodles
P T Preece
Went last year, shambles, long and drawn out affair, left before the end, just got bored with it, super 7 event dont think so, still Hoggett has gone now, hopefully somebody who knows what they are doing we run it better. Professional sport should be run by professionals.

Professional sport should be run by professionals. I don't propose to debate last years meeting, but there was two big accidents that meant prolonged treatment to the riders, how could anyone have stopped those. Anyway lets look forward to this years extravaganza.
Panthers89
Even IF Ales isn't there, a four of Fisher, Lasse, Ulrich and Blackbird wouldn't be too shabby.
BBSC
Looking at new averages which come into force today, looks like the teams missing out on this years 4's wil be Glasgow, Ipswich, Rye House, Scunthorpe and sadly my own team Berwick.
