In other words you made it up ...it's common sense that it is impossible to know unless your naïve enough to think that riders etc post under there own names .

Personal experience and contacts that you obviously haven't got. :D:P

.......Tsunami..... Phil is the owner and, as he joined in Dec 2002, I reckon that was probably the start of the BSF.

Is that another of your facts? :P I feel sure the forum was started by Phil in 2001 as that is when I bought my first computer purely so I could join. Perhaps he was the KKS of the forum back then and didn't use his proper name but several aliases, like Admin for instance? Anyway, perhaps Phil will be able confirm the year sometime, not that I want to be proved right of course.

It was 2001 Gemini.I found it in July of that year then unleashed Krissie on you all a few weeks later!

False Dawn,Norbold, Kipper and Liontamer are some of the earliest names I can remember.

Tsunami's 2002 join date for Phil would be when he moved the entire database from one forum provider to another and we all had to rejoin, hence why I have 2003 as my join date lol

Thanks Andrew I was convinced I landed here before 2003 but my profile said otherwise.

Ha ha! :D I so like to prove Tsunami is wrong sometimes.

True to the first bit. I had resisted all attempts to join the 21st Century by getting a computer but as soon as David mentioned the new speedway forum that was it and I bought a second hand one from a member of the family. I could never manage without one now.

Untrue to the second bit. I'd been on Facebook for quite a while before my Granddaughter told me about Farm Town and I'm now in charge of twenty farms. A lot of people don't like Facebook but I think it's great, although I perhaps shouldn't have 'liked' so many dog rescue groups because I usually end up crying at least once a day. But on the other hand there are some truly remarkable recoveries by dogs that have been starved and abused and it is good to follow their stories as they get better and find a lovely new home.

Except of course i didn't say it was a FACT. The word 'probably' is the one word you missed. :P

I was quite an early user. I remember searching for "Speedway Forum" at work just to see if there was one, and this is what I found.

I think we had to rejoin two or three times before settling on this one, which is why all the low numbered users will have the same join date.
