skoobie
With James quitting Glasgow early last season to take time out of the sport to get his head sorted I have not really heard anything since I.e are his racing days over? Would be such a shame of this was the case has he had so much talent
baba
Agree loads of talent, good gater and stylish would like to see him make a return oneday too. Dont know what happened to him last season he started of ok I think his call up to the british final wrecked his confidence.
Vince
Remember seeing him several times during his CL and early PL days and being certain that he would be a top level EL rider by now. Don't know what went wrong but it's certainly not a lack of natural talent.

MattK
I'd have thought he would be a decent bet in the current watered down Elite League. Certainly showed glimpses when he rode at Swindon.
Lioness
speedway is a confidence sport and he seemed to lose confidence and it is a shame. One of the best passes I ever saw was by James Wright - on Shane Parker on the 4th bend at Ashfield which is something very few have managed, never mind done it in style. I admire him for the way he took the decision last year though. It's sad that it seems to have turned out the way it has for him though
Paulco
Was ok when he gated , forget him when he didn't . After the British Final he just seem to lose it completely . Shame how that can happen to a rider
EnglishRoundabout
Good gater? Didn't ever see him make a good start in his season at Swindon, although in the previous season when he won the PLRC at Blunsdon, he looked superb.
SCB
I have a lot of DVDs in his 2nd season at Workington. He could gate to save his life, he'd make 5 or 6 passes a meeting, the crowd would groan when he gated. Where did it go wrong? Was it the fact he ended up riding at BV and it sucked the life out of him? I remember when u used to bang on about him on the newport forum in his NL/CL days. Â Jamie Roberson was another I rated highly, not as highly as James but he never made it either.

I saw quite alot of Conference league racing in 2003/4 when Swindon had the sprockets Wright really was a very good prospect.Willie Lawson and Jamie Robertson i believed could be regular PL riders i also rated Ben WIlson he went on and did ok.Did Derek Sneddon start at conference level? i am sure i see him at the Abbey once he has gone on and had a good career great loyal clubman. Yes Sidney, Derek rode for the Dale Devils around 2000 before joining Monarchs. So ironic that he missed our PL winning year in 2003 after a bad crash at Worky. Paulco
Good gater? Didn't ever see him make a good start in his season at Swindon, although in the previous season when he won the PLRC at Blunsdon, he looked superb. Honestly , early season at Armadale he popped out the gate and beat Craig Cook ( who only dropped a handful of points at home all season ) . Following race he'd be a bad last behind the opposition number 7 . His form deteriated completely as the season went on .

jimmy jimmy
He actually scored a couple of maximums at BV at number 2 with Hans Andersen, so BV track had sod all to do with it
