New Science
WOULD be the wise and logical choice ... doubt whether he wants his last GP race to be one where he was dumped on the track in StockholmIf was so concerned about that maybe he should have accepted his wild card. Not sure Tomasz should have the opportunity to cherry pick the Polish GP wild card slots when he has chosen he doesn't want to ride in the series . PHILIPRISING
If was so concerned about that maybe he should have accepted his wild card. Not sure Tomasz should have the opportunity to cherry pick the Polish GP wild card slots when he has chosen he doesn't want to ride in the series . UNDERSTAND what you are saying but think his overall record and contribution to the SGP for so many years deserves some recognition, especially after his crash at the Friends Arena. Â Incidentally, re Bydgoszcz tickets ... looks like on sale date will be around January 31
PolskiZuzel
 (...) Incidentally, re Bydgoszcz tickets ... looks like on sale date will be around January 31  Ticket prices for the European Grand Prix to be held April 26 in Bydgoszcz, are available now and cost the same as a year before.  Most expensive are the Main Grandstand tickets costing 600.00 PLN (£120.00). The Temporary Grandstand (A) tickets, at the back straight, cost 195.00 PLN (around £39.00). Sector B tickets (on the back straight) cost 165.00 PLN (£33.00). The cheapest tickets are situated at the first and second bend (sector C) – 95.00 PLN (£19.00). Concessions tickets, only in sector C, will cost 65.00 PLN (£13.00)  Bydgoszcz for the rights to stage SGP event has to pay BSI £200.000 . On top of that the club has to pay £18.500 to the Polish Motor Association for entering this event into the calendar, and has to find around £80.000 to cover the staging cost. In total Polonia Bydgoszcz speedway club will spend £320.000 in order to stage the European SGP on its track. If they get a turnout of 10.000 spectators they can expect £80.000 profit. There are 15.000 tickets on sale and Bydgoszcz hope that 80% will be sold.
PHILIPRISING
MOST of the statements in the second paragraph are false. The staging fee (inscription) is actually paid to the FIM not the PZM and the meeting is being promoted by BSI themselves rather than the Polonia club. Mama
There is more false in this statement: 1. Tickets are not yet available. 2. Prices are still not accepted by BSI and Polonia are still waiting for this acceptation. Â "PrzeglÄ…d Sportowy" (this statement is taken from this newspaper) is as reliable as tabloids ... racers and royals
Going back to Bydgoszcz after many years for the GP..... but can't remember much. Can anyone tell me how easy it is to get to the centre of town from the airport and then to the stadium?? Thank you This below is taken from Ryanair website Bydgoszcz International Airport is located approximately 3 km from the city centre. There is a bus service that will take you to the city centre in no more than 20 minutes and will cost you approximately 2.60 zloty. A taxi service from the airport is also available and will cost you approximately 40 zloty to the centre. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes to get to the city centre by taxi. Â I think one could walk to the stadium from the centre.
severnsider
It is easy to walk from the centre of town to the stadium. Â From the main square it is probably about a 20 min walk but it is all flat
Mama
There is a bus nr 80 goes from Bydgoszcz airport both to the city centre (Rondo Jagiellonów stop) and Polonia stadium (Ogińskiego/Moniuszki stop). Ticket price is 3,00 zł and actual timetable you can find at: http://www.zdmikp.bydgoszcz.pl/rozklady/paczka/0080/0080r001.htm
