hans fan
I am more interested as to why they turned it down, it seems to be similar to the Newcastle change which saw King and Greaves replace Henry and Rosen, out and out no 1 and second string for two heat leaders If it fits why have they refused it?, what does Newcastle's application have that ours doesn't, other than a member on the MC. probably they used in the best interests card for king ,it seems pretty obvious now he wasn't getting paid from the brummies , he probably couldn't afford to carry on unless he went to Newcastle (we all have bills to pay) , IF that was the case it seems the right decision to me with danny . As for rory you know he'll always get paid from the stars promo
crazyb
praise the lord and the bspa that they did !!! , I must be watching different matches at the showground because they've looked weak at reserve to me (before barrett was signed) bringing greenwood back and sticking barrett in the main body with a no1 who'd get nowhere near his average would have been suicide , Have you not thought it could have been Greenwood for Jacobs. Probably averages wouldn't have worked though, I don't know, I can never work them out nowadays. Will anyone from Panthers let us know why the BSPA said no. Bit of a stupid time to redeclare with Rory, as Edinburgh are at Alwalton on Sunday, and who is in charge of he Monarchs, none other than the chairman of the Promoters association!!!! Come on Neil, let us have the reasons, and why it was in the Telegraph and not on the website yesterday. In fact still not on five minutes ago.

semion
I didnt think you could make a change by joining 2 riders averages together and then replacing them with 2 other riders with a lower combined average. I thought it had to be on either a 1 for 1 basis, or on the overall average of the whole team. I am sure Neil will tell me if I have that one wrong. If you are changing TWO or more riders it has to fit under the team limit.
semion
Thats what I said... It cant be the combined average of the 2 riders. Its either individual or the whole team.
bigcatdiary
Assuming Schlein is 11.43 OSTERGAARD 6.93 BJERRE 8.00 BLACKBIRD 5.55 BARRETT 3.60 JACOBS 3.58 GREENWOOD 3.40 That totals 42.49 so if Schlein,s converted GSA is right why has this application been refused? Panthers89
Because the BSPA are bent to the core when it comes to certain teams? Just saying mind.....
Star Lady
If the BSPA had the best interests of the sport at heart they would publicise WHY this has been turned down. Like just about everyone else I have no idea. I can hazard a guess (or three conspiracy theories) which certainly don't have the interests of the BRITISH aspect of the sport at heart. Surely that's what is is about. After all it is the BRITISH Speedway Promoters Association isn't it? Presumably Peterboro now have to either use guests (not ideal), R/R (less so) or import yet another foreigner who will miss meetings and cost the earth. Come on BSPA or Neil tell us why, then we might just understand. Edited July 17, 2014 by Star Lady
jenga
i could be that rory is classed as too good to be in the premier league. when all the premier league supporters know that the pl is far tougher than the (e) lite league..
semion
Maybe as Rory is the stand in Guest here there and everywhere the BSPA dont want him tied up with a Premier league side
TheScotsman
Would have been a p*** poor team if those changes had gone through. Didn't realise the BSPA MC only consisted of Alex Harkess.
Vincent Blachshadow
Would have been a p*** poor team if those changes had gone through. Didn't realise the BSPA MC only consisted of Alex Harkess. In most cases, the BSPA MC consists of one bloke with an interest and others who shrug shoulders and go with the flow.
LagutaRacingFan
What a corrupt decision, feel for Oliver Greenwood if anything. BSPA = CORRUPT

ekimba
I would like to hear the explanation as well, What I meant was you cant seriously believe that Harkess would get away with stopping the move just because we are there this weekend, be serious. I know our Tigger friends from the west like to call him the dark lord, don't you start believing their Banter, oh the banter Also is it not about time your own club "broke" the story, rather than leaving it to the local rag. Anyway another win for us on Sunday, #believe
