Hope the new management get a good response for the meet the riders evening later. Be interesting who KKS chooses to stalk this year lol.

He's quiet at the moment - you might wake him up.

I think they will - personally I shall wait and attend P & P Day instead (weather permitting) and see the team in action on track rather than the dance floor

As for KKS - has anyone checked the Poole thread to see if he's posting on there - have a feeling PL is not for him/her

Why not do both. Think a good crowd tonight sends out a positive message to the new owners. I will be thanking them all personally tonight because I don't think I could follow any other team full time, & whatever problems Speedway has, I have missed it over the last few months & cant wait to get started again.

Quite agree and he might be eloping with Crump99 to bigger and better leagues. ;)

I live 20 miles away, and can't afford to go Tonight, Monday and Tuesday, so had to drop one. Also to be honest, these kind of things don't really do much for me, I go to watch them race around the track home and away, not to watch them on the Disco or getting asked awkward/predictable questions. It's a personnel thing and nothing against anyone who goes, good on you, but not my thing.

What cost was there tonight ?

40 miles of fuel in that case plus any food or drink and you never get the time back!

Is crumpie blonde then? ;)

Of course not, that'd make me a Swindon supporter.

Q: What do you call a Swindon fan with an IQ of 125?
A: a foursome.
:D

Team for opening 2 matches

1. Fisher

2. Blackbird

3. Bjerre

4. Ostergaard

5. Dryml

6. Jacobs

7. Greenwood

Thats a powerhouse top 5 and Dryml will outgate most in this league. Can also see Bjerre having his best season yet as the showground suits his style better than either Foxhall (where he was excellent to be fair) and Leicester.

The reserves look one of the weaker pairings on paper and it remains to be seen how Blackbird will cope over a season in the 1-5.

I don't think the bottom 3 will have to chip in too many big points though for Peterbrough to be winning meetings.

Crump 99, you could have had your tea at home, & a couple of cokes, the whole evening would have cost you a tenner. Enjoyed the evening, & thought that Swales was hilarious when he refused to tell us the riding order & then changed his mind 10 minutes later, only to then not know it himself.

That would involve organisation, time and a spare tenner which is difficult in total, or in part, for some. Not me fortunately but I fall in to the other part of the post (not the away from home bit): "I go to watch them race around the track home and away, not to watch them on the Disco or getting asked awkward/predictable questions. It's a personal thing and nothing against anyone who goes, good on you, but not my thing". Good to hear that after Sullivan's poor show we're back on the ball on the management front, didn't see a cabaret advertised :D

I don't see Swales as hilarious, just a bloody idiot

Now now crumpie....you know Robins fans are too busy on their own thread (100 odd pages isn't it?) at the moment to rise to the bait.... ;)
