Early Predictions

Message to Matt Ford. Build crap teams and give someone else a chance. It's only fair to share the title about a bit so all fans can taste success.

Yes right! Sport is for winning and not making up the numbers. This is the Poole era of domination but fear not. All good things eventually come to an end and another club will come along later or sooner in an attempt to take away the domination.

Then everyone will be moaning about them but until that happens life is great at Wimborne Road!

Up the Pirates!

Are you married, have children, close family??.

Because you really do come across as a sad & lonely person.

Your posts are becoming more ridiculous & could easily be from a young girl posting about their favourite pop star.

Its Shov's new year fishing trip folks. Lets face it, at least he stimulates some debate on here in the winter months!

Trust me, he's a decent fellah, just loves winding people up. Cut him, and he bleeds red......Swindon red.......eh Steve? ;)

it is the total paranoia of SOME poole fans on here and the assumption other fans are jealous is so far from the truth. If ANY speedway fan thinks that the Belle vue meeting should have started is talking guff..

Blatantly obvious Poole got it stopped after heat 10 whwn it wasn't dangerous in the original staging but was after the re run.

It wouldn't have been cancelled if Hancock hadn't have passed that is obvious.

As stated lots of controversial moments in the elite league and Pooles name was in at least 90% of them - coincidence I think not

At the time I was annoyed but thinking about it now, while what you say is 100% true ask yourself IF that meeting had gone ahead on a dry and fair track would Poole have won by 7 or more? Yes they would and they would have made the play-offs. what happened that day left a sour taste in many mouths but equally, had it not gone ahead Poole would have been hard done by.

Poodle fans flocking to watch Poole, remind how long their National League team lasted. As I recall people soon got flocked off with flocking there.

Poole on a Wednesday, then Bournemouth on a Thursday. How many could afford both? How many would have spouse happy for them to disappear 2 days in a row?

And remember, the rent was almost the same for both meetings. A good effort but asking too much from the fans, hense it didn't survive. Not sure why Poole are being picked omn here though. At least they tried for 2 years. Where is Eastbourne, Swindon, Belle Vue, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Leicester and Lakesides national league teams?

Semion making himself look a bit silly picking on a team that actually attempted to run a junior side.

As for the BV meeting, clearly once the go ahead was given for it to run, then of course Poole wanted to win by 7 or more and if by heat 10 we hadn't achieved that, the meeting would no doubt have continued. Not Poole's fault it went ahead and certainly once we hit heat 10 and were 7 up our job was done. BV could have demanded it continue but certainly didn't object.

The anti Poole brigade came out in force at the time but in reality Poole would have won if conditions had been dry anyway.

That's your opinion, of course..

Message to Matt Ford: Stop cheating and you may get some respect. Of course, you won't be as successful.

And as I and many poole fans have said, you can categorically, prove that, can you?? proof, not Hearsay...

Having watched Poole at Swindon a few years back with so many engine failures in one meeting and the Joe Screen incident - yes I can categorically say that Poole cheated - not hearsay! Now, can you prove they didn't?

Read this a couple of years ago in a programme:

I witnessed it all with my own eyes, this was not hearsay, I saw what was going on and why the hell should I not tell you how YOU the paying public were cheated on the evening of May 14 by Poole Speedway.

Interesting stuff ay!

All the more interesting by reason of the fact that the writer of the programme notes was apparently not sued for libel so we can therefore take that statement as being accurate and true. Add to that the fact that no lesser person than Leigh Adams himself effectively said on Sky that Poole were cheating., that seems to be good enough for most people. ;)

I cannot wait for Matt to make a autobiography I want him to so I can buy it

It'll be a struggle reading it by the looks of it. I hope Frost does the same (write one that is, not make one!), that'd be interesting as well.
