What on earth is a Boillie?

A boilie is a fishing bait that is generally high in protein and cooked to produce a firm round bait that does not break down in the water. They come in a range of sizes depending on the target species of fish one is after. They are also found in a range of colours and many varied flavours, and usually fished on a hair rig so it hangs beneath the hook..

So tell us all then who you think will win?.

And like Jacques asked what is a Boillie?

Jeez, ive just told you, we will win it on a tight reine. And a boillie is a bait you use for Carp fishing..

Decent effort TNT. Wish I had the time to have a go!

From what I have seen so far from the assembled sides, Kings Lynn with their top 3 and the potential of Lambert to support them look to be favourites. Many are tipping Bellevue to be in there, but for me Poole, Swindon and Eastbourne look good.

1. Kings Lynn

2. Poole

3. Swindon

4. Eastbourne

Thanks Blu, I'll definitely sleep better for that. Good ol' Starry, didn't even manage to spell his put down right :D

I predict that Poole will make more team changes than any other team during 2014 in their desperate and dastardly pursuit of the EL title - mainly to satisfy that 'Grumpy Ol' Win At All Cost Brigade' down in 'deepest darkest'..

I also predict that a new rule will be introduced, whereby a maximum of only 3/4 team changes are allowed per team per season - the purpose being, to stop the desperate and dastardly machinations of that one 'devil worshiping' mob down from down in 'deepest darkest'..

My final prediction is that the above rule will be 'thrown out' and the best interests of British Speedway will again fail to be served this year - indeed those 'decrepit old has-beens' from darkest Dorsetshire will somehow magnificently and against all the odds 'syrup' to the EL title once more - they will subsequently crow largely with their rotting teeth asunder and their undergarments largely stained... :t:

I will just predict the top 4,

Belle Vue

Impressive top 4 but a little worried who the 5th will be. Will still have enough to comfortably make the play offs

Kings Lynn

I think they will start slowly but then pick up when Lambert and Porsing get used to EL racing, having a feeling they will peak come play off time

Poole

If they sign Shamek then Poole should make play offs again, Newman as a reserve could be big for Poole and will be interesting to see how Josh handles being inthe 1-5

Coventry

Rock solid top 5 and have probably the best reserve pairing. Howarth signed as a 4 pointer but was averaging 6 for Swindon was an astute signing. A team that looks like it can pick up points away from home which can be key.

Im probably miles out but hey ho.

coudnt agree more on the top 4 eastie wont be to far behind
