G the Bee
Watching on my Google Nexus through the Livestream app. Excellent quality on full screen. That's with a slow 4mbps download speed too. Very impressed.

It's 10.40pm here in the Eastern US so it's a nice way to spend a mid-winter Saturday evening. Sad that the meeting at Brandon had to be called off. Alan. manchesterpaul
Hi Paul, Should I call you night owl? This is a bit weird watching something emanating from over here. Though it's 21/2 thousand miles from here!! And i'm watching us get thrapped again in Aussie! Superb stream. A break in the MMA (for me) whilst they re-run an earlier preliminary fight that i watched live at the time. So thought i'd pop in for a gander to see if anyone enjoying the racing and Aha! good to see old (not as in age lol) faces still around during the off-season. Wow the Cricket over already! ouch!!! They only got themselves to blame all series getting themselves out of their own doing 90% of the time. You deserve a medal for being up in the middle of the night. It's 10.40pm here in the Eastern US so it's a nice way to spend a mid-winter Saturday evening. Sad that the meeting at Brandon had to be called off. Alan. Excellent news you can get to watch it. I feared the worse when i saw the wording the other day about streaming being available for 'overseas' fans. Great to see a packed crowd. Although the winner of each race has been first from the gate there has been some good racing over the first four heats, take a bow Darcy for one. I find it a bit odd that the race commentator refers to riders during a race by their race jacket number. Fans at the track and on screen don't get to see the numbers that much but as we all know we do see the helmet colours all race. However i'm guessing that's a rare fault in the presentation of a meeting when comparing the US to UK. Great to see the little kids coming out on parade and racing. Cool there is a girl in there and also two riders from England.
brandonbee48
Pleasant mid-winter interlude Paul. Nice to see that the non-US riders all made it. Darcy has been good. Poor old Magic and Dudek must be wondering what the hell this is all about and yearning for April in Poland. Hope they can find consolation with a couple of California Girls. Love watching these little kids, including Greg's son Wilbur, though he didn't win.
brandonbee48
1st semi result. Janniro. Nicholls. Kennett, Hancock. 2nd semi result. Venegas. Ward. Wells. Burmeister. After 20 heats Janniro had 13. Hancock, Venegas and Burmeister had 11. Wells 10 and Kennett,Nicholls and Ward had 9. (I think. ) Final. Darcy overcooks it on turn 3 and brings off Janniro. Nicholls lays it down.. Rerun with Darcy gone. Scott wins from Venegas and Janniro. Scott rode a very smart first corner cut back. Finish at 6.15 am UK time. Good night all. Best wishes. Alan. manchesterpaul
zzzzzzzz Wha! Wassup! zzzzzz W'appen zzzzzzzz. Lol only kidding i lasted the course thanks to a hefty sleep-in earlier today. Big congratulations on an ACE win by Scott. Didn't think Darcy could go the whole meeting without being involved in a smash in such tight confines but i reckon he did very well. The Pedaler
Yayyyyy! FREE broadcasting online already, best wishes for a profitable and successful meeting Profitable as long as YOU don't have to contribute to the profits by paying for pay-per-view, you mean. Typical speedway fan. Are there any quotes from you complaining about tracks not having any money and not paying their riders by any chance? pandorum
16 Things we learned from the Monster Energy Invitational meeting. 1 Transgenders are not wanted as Monster Energy Girls. (I was sure one of them was exactly that during this years SGP) 2 If you are bored you can leave now and someone else will take your spot. (something we dare not ever say here in the UK) 3 Annie Perot can play the American National anthem on the violin. 4 Plywood is a southern California thing. 5 Eddie Kennett seems like a really nice guy! (hope they checked his silencer) 6. Briggo can go over to the adult beverage department 7. US announcers don't feel the need to apologise to the world when someone says fart or crap 8 Red is not halfway 9 If you have not enjoyed the evening the announcer apologises for that 10 Tonights collection for the 50/50 draw is 2156 dollars 11 Jimi Hendrix was still touring the last time Sonny Nutter won the California State Championship 12 Sonny Nutter had the best tush in speedway 13 The shirts were from Bubba 14 The announcer doesn't care how many points they brought into it. 15 If you are confused by this then God you really have problems with calculus 16 honestly if you are bored please leave now as the rest of us don't want to have a traffic problem It was a bit of fun of a meeting with a bit of good racing and very welcome over the winter break. The commentator was a bit mad to say the least and should be brought to the UK to translate for Sam Ermolenko. Hopefully we will see a bit more Yank racing over the next few weeks online. Nice to see how they give opportunity to kids at meetings like this The announcer /commentator was frankly brilliant and made the meeting entertaining. He would be great on SKY and liven up the dull fare we get in the UK. Edited December 29, 2013 by pandorum
Steve Shovlar
Just finished watching it and pretty good fun. Just. Don't go off the line or you will go backwards! Jannirro was unlucky in the final after Darcy tried to dive bomb him!

Are there any quotes from you complaining about tracks not having any money and not paying their riders by any chance? Wow big RED FACED EMBARRASSMENT for you seeing as you appear to have been too lazy to read just a few posts earlier before you went casting insults. Exactly what part of the post below do you not understand??? I wasn't aware there was a live feed last year that would be great news indeed if it should transpire to be the case this year. Was it an official stream on the organizers website?....... .....Haven't a clue what the costs involved are as in negligible or hard to make it pay but a pay-per-view stream could bring some money in as there are many speedway starved fans across the world come this time of the year. I'd willingly pay a small charge to view. I never imagined for one second that the official broadcast would be free. I even contacted the organizers via their website the other week to inquire about what payment methods would be in use. What say you now Pedaler??? A five letter word beginning with SORR ? dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
It was clear that Monster had underwritten the event with numerous mentions through the broadcast for fans to text their friends and encourage them to watch online for free but to make sure to contact Monster to let them know youd like more of the same next year. Also mentions of viewers all around the world and asking them to do the same. A number of other sponsors (mostly US local) also got a solid share of airtime including Hagon Shocks. Came across as a slickly organised and run event that attracted a healthy and enthusiastic crowd.

spin king junior
Certainly gave me the fix I needed! Some decent racing here and there, also seemed a lot better than last years invitational and ran a lot smoother. Must say I was particularly impressed with Max Ruml, even more so when I found out he was only 16! Definitely one to watch for the future. A ORLOV
An enjoyable meeting to watch in the middle of winter, and it was good to see the youngsters racing as well. The picture quality was excellent and a credit to the organisation running the event. I wonder if Monster will ever get the commentator to take over a GP meeting from smashy and nicey, he may not have had the knowledge but was a lot funnier than those two.
robinsgirl
I enjoyed this for the whole entertainment value. The small speedway track is a bit "Mickey Mouse" but those that have ridden small tracks previously were at quite a advantage. Billy J had it in the bag before Ward got a bit over excited!
