steve povey
Paul Starke for captain for me.
Ommer Mon
I agree that Starkie is the best choice. Likely to be our top scorer (though Steve will push him all the way) and he knows the Club and the Fans after last season. He would be the ideal choice.

greyhoundp
Which rider stayed behind after one meeting to give some advice, when Nathan was having a tough time, and doing some after meeting laps ? Yep Paul Starke.
TMW
Maybe the team management should involve the supporters and open a web vote
Double Up
Maybe the team management should involve the supporters and open a web vote I don't think there's any need for that. I can't see it being anyone but Paul. It'll bring the best out of him too as he's determined to lead from the front this year.

pete cc
We could start a debate about which subject that we can debate about next week.
Fatlad
Not planning on starting a debate but as Matt Williamson's sponsor of nearly fifteen years he has been educating me . He spent many years in his motocross days riding at Warley Wasps and tells me it is positively encouraged to shout " come on my babby !!!!" at your chosen rider who is doing well in and around the area. Is he pulling my leg ???

Ommer Mon
Not sure about the "my" bit - sounds a bit posh for us! More like "me" in Cradley. The rest is about right though. Cheers.

Is he pulling my leg ??? The "Come on me babby" is correct. Done it myself for years at the old 'Wood & new 'Wood. It is a term of affection amongst the Black Country folk I am afraid as we dow spake tew mutch English! In fact there will be 7 babbies at the start and end of the Season! My dad used to call it me the babby child, teenager & adult!

Ommer Mon
It looked like a really good turn out for season tickets at the Liberal Club last night. The terraces should be full again this season! Looking forward to it.
skodapower
It looked like a really good turn out for season tickets at the Liberal Club last night. The terraces should be full again this season! Looking forward to it. I am really pleased that the sales are going well. I am a little dissapointed that the fixtures were not realised before the early bird deadline ended. I will be paying on the gate as I cannot risk clashes with my hols. Why do Elite /Prem seem to know earlier? Looking forward to the season
Heathen1984
Maybe so teams can avoid as many fixture clashes as possible. Makes sense to bring nl fixtures out later. Near enough impossible this season thou to avoid clashes
Ommer Mon
Starkie has been named as skipper. An excellent choice and I'm sure he will do a cracking job.
