SteveLyric2
Our side shouldve beaten USA and Latvia, the riders should look at themselves but the management should take full responsibility. Still cant believe Kennett, Barker and Bridger were picked ahead of King! So that means NO to Morris taking over then!!!!
BWitcher
So that means NO to Morris taking over then!!!! Nice try, but no it doesn't. Â Morris was there to work for Middleditch. I'm sure he will have ideas of his own if given the chance.
Starman2006
Â So I'm perfectly qualified for the job, then. Â Please don't make assumptions about what I do and do not know about. Â Please answer the question I asked some posts ago: Â Do you really think that Middleditch handled and managed the team well during the SWC? Like any team manager, Neil does/did what he thinks is right for the side. And no, your far and away from being qualified, just like that Bwitcher.. Still im sure you two will keep banging out dross like a pair of headless chickens.. I mean, what chance has B witcher got, he can't even spell a riders name correctly, I wouldn't even give him a programme to fill out, nevermind the Team GB job... Ha Ha Edited November 14, 2013 by Starman2006
Shale Shaker
Still no answer then. Â A simple yes or no would do.

iris123
It isn't just about results, although this years result should have seen him out on his arsenal on its own.But it is about how you present yourself to the paying public and media. On that front Middlo just let himself down again and again. He is an ambassador for the sport and for the country. We can't afford someone like that in the job.So on that front alone he should have been out.Put the two together and i don't think he would have lasted as long as he did in most other sports.Good riddance. Now let's have someone who can start building up a team that at the very least gets results to match their level,i.e better than the US,and maybe just maybe we can get someone who can get them to perform above their normal level. It is possible if you just look at the US or on the individual front,Smolinski. And it would be hoped the person in charge can also avoid putting his foot in his mouth which seemed to be a Middlo speciality  The national manager is supposed to unite the country, not alienate large sections of it.That task it seems is too much to ask of Middlo Edited November 14, 2013 by iris123

Gemini
Â Â .......Pandorum....Let's face it guys more people speak Babylonian than whatever the hell language Havvy speaks so imagine an argument between him and Chris Harris being commentated on by Sudden Sam. Â Sorry I shouldn't laugh but that is really funny so I will. Â Â ......Spiegal............ right. And by the way he doesn't read this forum, so criticise all you like, if it makes you feel better. I'd say most people should get their view over in a couple of posts.maybe we stretch it to 3 or 4 posts, but if after about 15 or 20 posts you still haven't made it clear then ask someone to write it for you or give up....... BWitcher
Do keep up mate, ive explained this several times.. You haven't explained anything. Â It's a simple question. Is Gino Manzares a better rider than any of (giving you a choice here) King/Barker or Cook? Simple question Starman. Yes or No. Edited November 14, 2013 by BWitcher

BWitcher
Shouldn't be, but we are talking about a TEAM here, not an individual. Ok so you admit. Gino Manzares is not better. Â How about Ricky Wells. Is he better than King/Barker/Cook?

TrueBee
Middlo's best decision of 2013. Surely Phil Morris is the next man. Â Can't believe Havelock's name mentioned, as he's the only team manager who is worse than Middlo!

Woz01
A managers role is to get his side to over perform, to do better than predicted. We under performed in the SWC and thats a fact, Middlo shouldve called it a day then. Id give Morris the chance although im unconvinced as he was part of the management. Lets see what he can do as Manager, at least Morris can be bothered to get the right accreditation.
orion
Orion dear boy. The US have beat us once, and they will do it again, we have nobody creditable enough bar Tai. Bridger aint good enough and needs to take his head out of his own backside, nors Barker, he needs to keep his trap shut and consentrate on riding a speedway bike, i like barker as a rider, and not the other Barker. Cook is still learning, Harris will get no better. Danny King and Eddie Kennet are in the same catagory. and i don't think Scott Nicholls would be interested in riding for Team GB anymore. We are no more a force on the World stage and won't be. We had our best chance in 04 when the riders were at their peak, we don't have the grounding or the set up they have in Poland Denmark and the Aussies for example, We don't have the class, or depth of riders. we do not have the interest in Speedway that the poles and Danes have. A lot of the british kids, think they know it all, and are not prepared to listen. Those that do listen and have a bit of abillity cannot obtain the sponsorship which they need. So, You and your other so called team managers can say what you like, but i will be proved right, we have a very long tail, Neil was on a hiding to nothing, and the new man will be in the same boat. I dare Phil Morris to come on here and disagree with my statement. And i will, remember this conversation.. Yet again you waffle on about stuff that have nothing to do with what people are saying ...the point being made is nothing to do with how good the riders are ,we all know that the point is that nearly everyone bar you know that under someone else we would beat the likes of the usa and do better than last year . Panthers89
Thank god for that! Morris is the obvious choice, but you hardly need a team manager, just a decent captain.
