Barry The Cat
So as expected Middlo has quit as team manager, two people in frame to replace him, current deputy Morris or Gary Havelock.

What a pile of crap. As expected... just perhaps Neil hasn't got the time to devote to the cause.

screm
Â To me, Phil comes across as the most articulate at putting things across. Something that Mr Havelock certainly doesnt. For the life of me I cant understand why anyone would consider him for GB team manager.Phil Morris for me all day long.

Results wise can't really do much worse and credibility wise surely better is hoped for at the very least
LagutaRacingFan
Why is Gary Havelock in the frame? If we are looking for the best British team manager then it's Phil Morris for me. Â But if we are going to look for the best team manager, I would go for Ryan Sullivan. david2905
Whoever it is, will not do any better.. mark my words. Â The GB Manager may have limited talent to work with, but can still do the best job with what he has, something Middlo failed to convince most he was doing that, remember at Poole he has considerably more powers and funds to mask any errors. Â I think someone's suggested Havelock just for the crack after Coventry's season, Morris is nailed on short of the ultimate corruption or him turning it down. weatherwatcher
As things go I think it will be Morris Not sure but I think it was already mentioned that he was taking over for 2014 on one of the latter Sky Elite League races. But don't quote me on that one. I don't see team GB doing any better next year, some of the riders are getting past their sell by date and the up and coming riders have still a long way to go, before they reach top level racing. Give them a few more years and a few more chances to compete in the top flight of speedway and we may just then see a team GB that is worth it's pinch of salt. But 2014 I think will be another no, no for team GB whoever is in charge.
SteveLyric2
So as expected Middlo has quit as team manager, two people in frame to replace him, current deputy Morris or Gary Havelock. Middlo made no secret of the fact that he was packing it in! Personally I'd like to see Neil Vatcher give it a go, with Morris sticking to the U21s!!! SCB
rubbish, without Middlos inspirational ways we might end up finishing as low as 7th in the World. Oh, right, ekk, 8th then! Â How can Middlo do the job anyway, he didnt even have the right licensing. As for the suggestion of Havvy, bring back Middlo!!!!

Hackney Speedway
We just haven't got the riders, no matter who's in charge. With five Tai Woffindens please, even then I'd do a good job, like I did at Hackney!
Dornier
Glad Middlo`s gone, he didn`t have much idea as was proven by the results, think he was even embarrassed himself to be in the job......
